Spend a day hiking or playing a friendly round of golf. During winter, several resorts nearby offer top-tier skiing and snowboarding. Grandfather Mountain (15 miles) is the perfect spot for exploring wildlife and visiting the iconic Mile High Swinging Bridge. Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian State University are also close by.
