Heather Heights Cottage - Mysig stuga med utsikt och eldpit, minuter till Boone!

Klassisk bergs charm möter moderna känslor i den här mysiga stugan! Ursprungligen byggd som ett av de första sommarstugorna i Crystal Mountain-samhället har detta hem uppdaterats och inredats topp till botten från och med 2018 och är redo för dig och dina nära och kära att njuta av.

Hemmet har nivå asfalterad delvis täckt parkering och bara ett steg att gå in. Det första du märker vid inmatningen är de synliga strålarna och det välvda taket som drar upp ögonen uppåt. Köket ligger på höger sida vid inresa och har svarta apparater och en stor bar för matberedning samt sekundär sittplatser. Det finns ett runt matbord till vänster i en liten krog, perfekt för 5 att sitta och njuta av en måltid tillsammans. Ett urval av soffor och stolar är ordnade runt en vedeldad spis med en stor TV monterad ovanför den och det finns skjutdörrar som leder till däck.

Ned i hallen från det stora rummet finns ett hallbad med en glasblockdusch med två sovrum i slutet av hallen. Varje sovrum har en queen size-säng. Rummet till höger har en tvättmaskin och torktumlare i inbyggnaden, och rummet till vänster har dörrar som leder ut till däcken.

Det finns ett separat vardagsrum och sovrum svit på nedre nivån av huset, åtkomst antingen från utsidan av trappan eller en delvis täckt trappa som leder från korridoren. Denna andra vardagsrummet har ett pentry, bord, vardagsrum med en loveseat, badrum med badkar / dusch och ett sovrum med en full storlek säng och en dörr till ett lugnt däck med rockers.

Utanför huset ansluter en grusväg stugan till partiet bredvid där en eldgrop väntar framför en stor naturlig stenblock. Evenemang av kul med familjen väntar på att göra smores och rosta varmkorv!

Ligger mellan Boone & Blowing Rock, bara några minuter till vardera staden, är Crystal View en underbar hemmabas för alla dina High Country-äventyr!

I would not stay here again and their property manager is not very responsive

We booked this place as a quick getaway for an extended weekend of skiing on 1/13/24. However, the place was extremely cold, with no heat air traveling to the rooms. We had to call their property manager, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals, multiple times before someone came out. When the technician came out, he couldn't do anything and just said that he would bring some portable heaters. In the meantime, the next day, we had to call the property manager, and they moved us to another location that would not be available until that evening. Unfortunately, we spent a good few hours waiting and kept calling and sending the other people to a ski resort while my wife and I were waiting at the house. When we were speaking to one of their agents, they mentioned that they might be able to get a refund due to what we were going through. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to wait for them to respond. Well, that was wishful thinking. No calls except for the automated "take our survey" emails. I called them again on 1/25 and left a voicemail. Still no calls from them. Very unfortunate.

Great views - cabin feel - well stocked

The property was in great shape, they provided a pretty well stocked kitchen. Had 2 firepits to use so that was a nice touch. We do wish that the shower head worked better and that the bathroom was cleaner. Also, there is only one bathroom for 3 rooms, so took some managing with kids. Overall the location was pretty quiet and a nice escape from reality.

Great getaway in the woods

House was good size a little smaller than what the pictures showed. Bathroom upstairs really needs a good cleaning mold all over shower. Floors needed a little scrubbing. Downstairs was nice but smelled musty. Dehumidifier was full and the water holding tank was very moldy.

Great location and cozy cabin!

This cabin is very cozy, perfect for a small family or couple friends. The location is perfect, easy to get to blowing rock or Boone! The property has a great side yard with the fire pit and neat large boulders. Also great pet friendly home as well.

Nice location, cute cottage, not very clean

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was in a convenient location with a pretty view. We enjoyed the complimentary delicious fudge that was on the counter when we walked in :) Our girls loved the upstairs kids' loft. However, they toys and games that were listed in the description should be replenished. There was one Barbie with no hair and two games with missing pieces. Fortunately our girls each brought a few toys from home to play with. The cottage was difficult for us Floridians to drive to and from, as the roads leading to it were steep, narrow, and windy - take caution. It was quite an adventure for us! On the day of checkin, I never received the gate information I was told I would get in an email, so I had to call and get it, which was difficult with spotty service. However, everyone I talked to was very friendly. Communication was always very prompt leading up to the trip as well. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the house. I could smell urine as soon as I walked inside, there were cobwebs all over, there was mold in the shower, and the doors/walls had long stain drips all over. These are things that should and could easily be cleaned. The landscaping could use some attention as well. Weeds are taking over and the potted plants in the front were mostly dead. This didn't affect our stay, but does affect your initial impression when driving up to the cottage for the first time. The place appeared very run down and we were honestly intimidated to walk inside based on the appearance of the exterior. These little touches and extra care to attention/detail could have made for a better review.

A Nice, Quiet, Peaceful Place

Our family had a rough year and needed a 'resting' vacation. This was a great place to do that. The deck was nice for during the day and the fire circle was a great touch for the evenings. We weren't too far from Boone or Blowing Rock and got to take advantage of fun things to do and great places to eat in both spots.

Kid friendly and quiet

Tucked away in a nice gated community in the mountains. This cottage is cozy, nicely decorated and kid friendly with their own loft. Just the right size for a small family and with a lower apartment for another couple or grandparent perhaps. The outdoor living here is fantastic. Multiple decks and a huge graveled area with a rock outcropping and fire pit nearby were enjoyed daily. My son wants me to buy it so we can go back whenever we want. :)

Great cottage

we loved out stay, house was roomy, did not realize you needed to go outside to stay in the downstairs room but it worked out great for our teenager. had to use the space heaters in the bedrooms. we loved the side lot with the fire pit and large rocks. we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. will stay again

We enjoyed staying at this quaint cabin. The deck and firepit were terrific. Watching the sunset with a fire and then the glow of the stars in they sky was so relaxing. Conveniently located to many of the towns in the area.

Great mountain cabin!

This was a great stay. The property is tucked in a private community, with great views, and very clean. Communication with the management company was excellent. The cabin has a great outdoor space with plenty of room for kids to explore. We really liked the outdoor firepit area. This caibn is extremely convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and the parkway. Hope to come back!

Amazing!!

We loved staying in this quaint cabin!! Very child friendly with beautiful views! The property is gorgeous and close to everything. The outdoor fire pit was a huge hit!! Definitely plan on coming back!!

Nice stay

Lovely cabin, really enjoyed the fire pit. The oven broke on Thanksgiving, but the maintenance team replaced it with a convection oven. The refrigerator also wasn't cooling and the maintenance team said they would come by to check it out, but didn't show up. The house was great aside from the maintenance issues
