“The place was not properly cleaned, we found new years' party hats under the sofa (from the week before), food stains on the walls in the kitchen, a badly cleaned bathroom floor. Just not what you'd hope for, but the place was really good in all other aspects. ”

“The unit is very cute and nicely decorated. Has a very nice kitchen area, which we did not use during our one night stay. The location is excellent - one block walk to the heart of downtown Boone. We were able to easily walk to the Performing Arts center on campus for a concert. A/C is a window unit (not central air), but it felt cool enough for me. Parking is off-street, but the alley back to the duplex is tight. A large SUV would be tough to maneuver and park, IMO. There are stairs only to the...

“Beautiful place with beautiful scenery. Everything was tidy on arrival. Loved how close we were to everything. The staff were great and helpful. Enjoyed the cute little touches. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Two small things were the faucets in the bathroom were hard for the kids to turn off and some maintenance on the building on our last day surprised us with men on the outside of the balcony 😅”

“This is a perfect getaway location. We enjoyed the privacy and the location is near Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather Mountain. Quiet & apartment is perfect. Kitchen had premier cooking utensils, pans, and I loved the extra care with coffee or tea and dishes. Excellent one room for a couple. Walking up to the garden house called Mole Hill is an extra perk. We loved Badger’s Den and the theme from Wind in the Willows!”

“Our family were in town for our daughter’s early morning graduation. We just needed an I expensive place that would accommodate the entire family. The Sunflower Suite was perfect retreat for the one night. Well-appointed and comfortable. Kinda wish we could have stayed longer. ”
