“Beautiful area and location over looking the water. The kitchen was nice but not a lot of supplies for cooking bigger meals. Campfire had wood and we enjoyed having a fire and sitting outside. ”

“What a beautiful property! My family and I stayed for a few days to enjoy Boothbay Harbor and it was the perfect spot for our getaway. My toddler loved the open floor plan and being so close to the water. It was an ideal distance to downtown without being in the hecticness of it all. Highly recommend!!”

“It was just what the doctor ordered, a month in a quiet (except for street traffic which we could not see, but could hear), wooded, seemingly remote location, that was very private. Lilac cottage is so sweet, a quintessential Maine cottage with good WiFi, 10 minutes from the great town of Bath and lots of parks and beaches. Mark was the perfect host and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. You truly feel alone, yet connected. What a place! It’s stocked with lots of water....

“Great place to stay. The cottage was spotless and had just about everything one needs. The view from the balcony is really nice and the property grounds are beautifully maintained. It is 5 minute walk to Spruce Point Inn which has a great restaurant so you do not need to drive to town, which in itself is only about 10 minutes. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Sasanoa is a beautiful cabin in the woods. The vintage decor is lovely. The living area is very spacious, comfortable and perfect for two couples. Screened-in porch is great for reading and/or games. The location is extremely peaceful and quiet! ”

“We had an amazing time celebrating our 25th anniversary! We arrived after dark because of another event that ran late. Locating the cabin was a bit difficult in the dark, but once we figured out to go on down the hill, we found it on. We were welcomed with flowers and a bottle of wine for our anniversary! The cabin is only steps f on the water and I spent my mornings on the back deck or on the lake shore rocks enjoying the peace and quiet! We used the cabin as our home base for visiting...

“Great stay here with our dog while we visited our college student doing a local internship. Neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Had most everything we needed, porch was great to sit out on in the evening. Comfortable beds. Very warm sleeping a couple nights because of the no a/c but cross breezes usually kept the house comfortable. Easy five minute drive into Boothbay Harbor. Quick responses whenever we reached out. Overall a great stay - we were very happy with it!”
