“BEWARE Soooo much I can say about this location. Immediately, we noticed that the home had terrible cleaning conditions. The walls, shower, floors, baseboards n Kitchen ceiling fan were absolutely FILTHY! The upstairs shower was grimy n even had hair under the shower mat (dirty as well). The neighborhood had MULTIPLE stray cats that constantly crawled the patio n even slept on the furniture causing us not to use the patio at all! The backyard n front door area even smelled like cat urine....

“We enjoyed staying here however there was no hot tub. Zero. Three of us walked around the entire property looking with achy back after a long day at work. Stay there for four days and couldn’t find the hot tub in four days. Ask the host three times via Vrbo on location of hot tub and all she did was reply yes, there was one. If you don’t have a hot tub – don’t advertise one. We would’ve probably still booked anyway, but it was definitely one of the reasons we chose this location.”

“We liked the look of the farmhouse, and saw it from a mile away on our drive in from Highway 1. Easy to find ! Easy to get in. The old house is very friendly. Enjoyed the "history" feel. Really liked walking around the yard, seeing all the great trees and bushes and flowers someone planted and took great care of. Didn't miss the TV either ! My daughter who was working in Big Sur loved staying upstairs, like her own little apartment. Very relaxing place to get away from things.”

“Stark would be the adjective I'd use at this property. It could really use a rug, a couple lamps, and a couch. It is among a group of other rentals and people walk right next to the windows that do not have adequate draping. The lock on the door didn't work. The TV in the main bedroom is for show as there isn't an electric outlet at that location. “We are visiting San Jose from Los Angeles and this house was very charming, cozy, and clean. The house looks exactly like the pictures posted. The host was great and the back yard was cute and pet friendly. ”

“We had problems the moment we walked in the door and it was 58 degrees inside the home. They were utilizing two splitters in opposite ends of the home for heat and air conditioning. They also expected you to use electric heaters for the remainder of the house. These units are a fire hazard and also would have blown the electric according to their handyman. “Very nice location central to most things in the area. The house itself was very nice and the separation of the bedrooms gave everyone the feeling of separate privacy. The beds were all very comfortable. However, there were ants consistently in the master bathroom as well as the kitchen. I don’t feel for this amount of money that that should have been occurring.
