The location is in a quiet part of the town and 20 to 30 minutes walk to centre of a fairly big town but lots of parking in town if you choose to drive. The many valley of D’ordogne attractions near Sarlat are an hour to hour and a half drive away, with Brantôme...

Accommodation spacious and comfortable with lots of inside and outside seating areas from which to enjoy different aspects of the property and escape or enjoy the full sun. “Nous avons passés un très bon séjour en Dordogne ! La maison de vacances est très belle, spacieuse et fonctionnelle (8 personnes sans problèmes). Il faudra prendre votre voiture pour faire quelques courses, mais l’étang n’est pas loin et on peut y passer une très bonne journée. Nous avons découvert les villages environnants (Saint-Jean-de-Cole - Brantôme - …) Faites confiance à Hélène et Andy qui sont des hôtes à l’écoute et très bienveillants ! A une prochaine fois :)”

The river nearby offered even more more great fun and activities. “La maison est parfaitement bien située, offrant une belle vue sur Périgueux. Outre son confort et sa modernité, la maison est ultra bien agencée, pratique, très fonctionnelle et meublée avec énormément de goût. Petits et grands l’ont beaucoup appréciée, les chambres sont spacieuses et presque toutes dotées de leur salle de bain. Idéal pour plusieurs familles ou entre amis. Nous retenons l’adresse ! Juste préciser dans l’annonce le supplément pour chauffer la piscine.”

"I was traveling with my family — two adults and two small children (a 2-year-old and a 6-month-old) — and booked a double room, as I’ve done many times in other hotels without issue. Upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that having four people in a double room was not allowed. I calmly explained that we had never encountered this policy before and asked why we would need to pay for an extra bed, especially since our baby doesn’t even use one. The receptionist was unwilling to listen, and instead called the manager several times. While we waited, another guest walked into the lobby, and the receptionist began openly complaining about us. I found this behavior completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I asked to cancel the reservation so we could go elsewhere, but the manager told us that a refund was not possible. As a compromise, he agreed not to charge for the baby and waived breakfast charges for our toddler. Left with no alternative, we stayed for one night. Do yourself a favor: choose a different hotel with better customer service and flexibility — especially if you’re traveling with small children. "
