Cosy Bendigo Retreat - Unique Stay - Close to town

  • Welcome to our tastefully decorated, spacious Victorian home - one of Bendigo's finest! We have four bedrooms - one with an ensuite - a large dining room / entertaining area perfect for enjoying a home cooked meal or perhaps a competitive game of Uno. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and the cosiest living room with a large smart TV connected to standard cable and many streaming services. High speed 100mbps internet makes working from "home" a breeze.

    Our renovated, light oak wood flooring and high ceilings home is the perfect home away from home. Located in one of Victoria's most famous Country towns.

    We are very well located and are in close proximity to most of Bendigo center. A small 10 minute walk will get you to the Bendigo Marketplace and a 20 minute walk will get you into the heart of the city. Alternatively we have plenty of private parking and you'll be in the city center in just 4 minutes by car. We are also a 3 minute drive to/from the local Bendigo train station, or a 10 minute walk.

    Bedroom 01
    The primary bedroom features a queen bed, built-in robes, a 42” Smart TV, a split system for heating and cooling as well as a complete ensuite.

    Bedroom 02
    The second bedroom features a double bed, clothes hanger, 42” Smart TV and a portable heater and fan.

    Bedroom 03
    The third bedroom features a queen bed, clothes hanger and a record display.

    Bedroom 04
    The fourth room is primarily intended for those with kids or larger families. It features a queen bed and a king single bunk, which is larger than a standard single and suitable for adults.

    We value our guests health and safety and to ensure this the house is professionally cleaned after each booking.

    Pay for what you will use; About our pricing structure.

    We charge a base rate for two people per bedroom. This approach allows us to offer more affordable accommodations to solo travelers or couples who only require one bedroom but still desire the experience of renting an entire house.

    The use of each additional bedroom incurs an extra $60 fee to cover additional costs for cleaning, utilities, supplies etc. Our pricing structure ensures that guests only pay for the amenities they require and desire.

    Access will only be provided to rooms that are booked. If our cleaners find that unpaid beds were used, an extra cleaning fee will be incurred.
    Please choose the correct number of guests when checking availability/pricing and please let us know if you require individual beds.

Clean and comfortable house, well presented. Great location. My dogs appreciated the dog friendly home and the big backyard. A little better heating would be great, the air conditioner heats the lounge well, but that’s the only room with heating.

I had a lovely stay overall. The property was clean, comfortable, and well presented. The space felt welcoming and was easy to settle into, and it had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The location was convenient and made getting around very easy.Communication was clear and the property itself was nicely maintained. It’s a great option for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Lovely home, plenty of space. Convenient to CBD. Contact with the owner was great. Extra heating in dining room would have been good for sitting around longer in there. Getting out of the driveway a little tricky. We had a terrific time staying at this home and seeing more of Bendigo.

Quarry Hill Nugget

A lovely home that had comfortable beds, good facilities, was warm and had a safe and large backyard for our 2 dogs. Its location meant it was a short drive in to the city centre, to tourist attractions or a 2 minute walk to the Queen’s Arms Hotel for dinner and a drink. Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Stay

We had a fantastic stay here. House is perfect for a family with teenagers, like us, as multiple bedrooms provided individual breakout space. Alternatively, could see the house would work for two families or multi-generation family traveling together. Place was clean, fresh and homely. Centrally located, the space met all our need for our stay in Bendigo.

Fantastic house to stay with pets

Terrific little house, with everything you need (lots of extra touches to make it feel very home like). We stayed with our two dogs and were very comfortable. It is a short walk to down (half an hr walk). We have stayed in other pet friendly houses in Bendigo and this one is by far the best.

A perfect house forvys

A great house with a fully equipped kitchen which meant we had options for catering during our stay… but so close to town which meant we had the best of both worlds! A lovely home away from home where our little dog was secure and our kids comfortable. Communication with the owner has been delightful, timely, helpful and caring. We will be back!!
