This charming cabin is less than one mile from the entrance to Boyne Mountain and all of its amenities, including world-class downhill skiing, Avalanch Bay Indoor Waterpark, Zipline, 35 km of cross-country skiing, Tubing, Mountain Bike trails, Championship Golf, Dining, Day Spa, and the brand new Skybridge.

Centrally located for multiple Northern Michigan vacation destinations! All of the nearby cities have multiple options for boating, swimming, quaint downtown shopping, restaurants, wineries, and breweries. It is only a 10-minute drive to downtown Boyne City/Lake Charlevoix, 15 minutes to the Odawa Casino and Petosky, and 30 minutes to Charlevoix/Lake Michigan Beaches and Beaver Island Ferry.

This is a prime ski location with Boyne Mountain right across the street, Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands 30 minutes to the north, and Schuss Mountain/Shanty Creek Ski Resort 30 minutes South.

Property looks cute in photos, but it wasn’t clear that the bedrooms were in the basement. There was a strong mildew smell throughout the property, and the bedrooms hadn’t had the spiders vacuumed away. Apart from those issues, it was clean and the beds were comfortable.Immediately next door is a mobile home with lots of stuff in the yard.

What we were looking for

Everything was fine with our stay. Pictures do suggest a more rural location whereas we were actually in town of Boyne Falls and across the street from the local trailer park. This posed no problem for us and would not change our willingness to rent, just a little different then we expected. The other thing is just worth clarifying that all the bedrooms were downstairs, though well appointed and in good condition. If having a bedroom or rooms on main floor are important from a rental standpoint. Worth mentioning.

Wonderful

The house was cute online but even cuter and more comfortable than it looked in person. It was close to the mountain, the beach, downtown area, and in walking distance to the best Dollar General we have ever been in that had everything we needed. The house also had a nice deck with seating available. We would definitely stay here again. Also, there was prompt and kind communications with the owner. 10/10 recommend this rental.

Perfect cabin in the Michigan mountains

Great cabin that was perfectly suited for our short stay in Boyne. Plenty of towels, necessities and bedding for the four of us. Within 5 - 10 miles of other destinations and wineries. Minutes to Skybridge on Boyne Mountain.
