This was hands-down one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. After a 4-hour drive, it took us another 2 hours just to get into the condo because the building was hard to find (thanks to vague, unclear instructions) and the lock code we were given was wrong - not once, but 5 times before we finally got one that worked.When we finally got inside, the refrigerator was frozen solid and unusable, so we had to spend another 2 hours defrosting it & even had to go buy a cooler to keep our food from spoiling. The company “kindly” offered me a whopping 54 to cover that, which doesn’t even begin to make up for the wasted time and frustration becausethe problems didn’t stop there:The stove burners never got hot enough to even boil water.The bed was ridiculously high (I had to jump just to get on it) and so squeaky it woke us up every time we moved.The unit above us kept us awake, squeaking as well.The bedroom door squeaked loudly too, disturbing everyone else anytime it opened.Worst of all - BUGS. Bugs crawling out of the drains. Huge cockroaches running around the unit. Disgusting.I reported many of these issues on the first day, but when I called back later to leave early because this place was a nightmare, they claimed to have no record of my earlier complaints. If you’re looking for a vacation where you spend hours troubleshooting problems, lose sleep to creaky beds and doors, and share the vacation with bugs, this is the place for you!
