“The place was more run down than expected and felt closer to a motel than a hotel stay. One major issue was the bathroom setup — there was no shower curtain separating the shower from the toilet, so water got all over the toilet and floor every time the shower was used. The staff was very nice, and Scott was especially responsive, offered helpful suggestions, and did his best to accommodate our needs, which was appreciated. However, the cost was still very high at $718 for four nights. I assume...

“Location is nice and convenient, close to ocean and national park. Issues we had (and hence 3 stars) are: rooms are very dark, very dim lighting, showers had no hot water half the time and when there was hot water then pressure in shower was very weak, dribble. Breakfast was good and nature all around. ”

“This was a girls' trip, and since we didn’t have a car, Maritza’s location was absolutely perfect! The hotel is within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping, making everything so convenient. The daily breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day. The property is well-kept, and the rooms have been beautifully renovated. We’ll definitely be back for another Pura Vida girls trip!”

“The place is ok, a little over rated in my opinion. One has to get out of the car to open gate to get into a small parking space. They woke me up early on Sunday morning to move my car, cause I was the last one in the parking space last night and someone wanted to leave, so I had to get up to move my car. They were very rude about it. So parking is an issue, as it was raining hard and had to get out to open and close gate also.”

“We had such an amazing stay here. The room was the perfect size for me, my husband, and our two children, spacious, comfortable, and very well kept. Everything throughout the property was extremely clean, which made us feel right at home. The pool was a standout, super clean and well maintained, which we really appreciated.
