The room is fine, a little run down but it’s a cheaper motel. However, the pool situation is terrible and I probably should have read every line of the description. If you have kids this pool is not ideal. They have access to one lane pool that the community also uses. You’re asked to not use your phone, the greenhouse the pool is in is chilly. The kids can swim laps and that is it. I have never taken my kids to a pool so devoid of fun. They were not allowed in the other pool or the hot tub and kids under 18 have to be supervised by an adult so if you want to go to the hot tub you can’t unless you are with another adult and then you’re splitting up. The pool is definitely centered around the members of the community(that pay a fee) rather than patrons of the hotel.
The steam room has the roof falling down and is out of commission.
The location is mediocre at best, but that wasn’t a problem for us.
Really the biggest negative and it was a large one was the pool and how absolutely insane the people running it were.
If we ever go back to the area I 100% would not stay here again.
