An Amazing Stay

It was my first time in Breckenridge and it was such an amazing stay! The place was so comfy and inviting. It’s also very close to the downtown and there are shuttles that take you to and from the mountain (Breckenridge).I’d absolutely stay here again and again.

Perfect location

Perfect location to the heart of Breckenridge. So convenient for parking, easy to get in and out of garage. Great place to stay for a couple!

It was very comfortable. We got moved to this condo because of flooding in the original one we booked. Would've liked a king size bed and could have been a little bit cleaner. We did have a great time in Breckenridge.

Because of a water problem, we had to change condos. The one we got moved to was great and had everything we needed. It was very spacious and we were able to really relax. With the windows open it was a bit loud, but when they were shut, you couldn't hear the street at all. The management group was excellent and it was very easy to communicate with them!

Great Location!

Very spacious condo unit in a great location. You can walk to the gondola in the morning to get on the mountain, and there’s a trail that you can ski down that ends right across the street. Also a block away from Main Street so very easy to walk into town.

The property in The River Mt Lodge in Breckinridge was clean and location was perfect. The problem was that the Host/Summit Mgmt failed miserably in compensating our 450 loss of funds due to their negligence in handling the major water damage that affected 12 units. We will not be using VRBO again.

Great time!

Overall, this was a great condo and it met the needs of our group. The front desk stuff was extremely helpful and having them store our skis was a fun bonus. My only suggestion for the unit is to add some humidifiers and oven mitts.

Great location.

We’ve stayed in dozens of properties in Breck. This one is located very conveniently. The shuttle stops right in front of the building and the 4 o’clock run terminates right across the street. It’s one block from Main Street, so walking to the restaurants is very easy. The building has ski storage, parking underground is easy, again, everything is easy and convenient. The condo itself is very nice, well-appointed, clean. Everything in working order. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay! Better than expected.

Property managers were great, condo was roomier than I thought with 2 full baths ( 1 thought it only had 1). Shuttle to ski was incredibly easy. Walking to dinner was perfect. The front desk was helpful, and the ski check desk made it so easy. Much better than stuffing your stuff into a ski locker. There were not pool towels in room, and the front desk couldn’t give us any bc they don’t manage the property. Other than that it was effortless and relaxing.

Very convenient, central location to downtown and skiing. All in walking distance.

A nice, cozy corner apartment, great layout, downstairs the entry area with bathroom, storage, washer/dryer, kitchen, eating and living area with a nice balcony and upstairs a separate master bedroom with bathroom. I would give the place a five star but the heavy and old style wooden furniture's are rather dated. The dining chairs definitely need replacement. Also the TV's need an upgrade. The kitchen is minimalistic equipment, but still functional. No dealbreaker, with some TLC attention the place would be top notch.

I will not rent here again. The parking garage is always full beyond capacity and the spaces to park are very difficult to get into. Do not go here with a large SUV; as you won't be able to park without being an inch from the other cars or half the car out in the drive isle. The area around this property is very nice and close to many restaurants and shops but the property itself is very outdated. The specific unit we rented (W318) felt even more outdated than the property. The pictures make it look a lot bigger and nicer than what it really is. The upstairs bedroom is very hot and it was impossible to regulate the temperature in any way. It was much nicer downstairs as far as the climate control, but that's where it ends. The TV's are seemingly from the last century and the bathrooms as well. The bed was very uncomfortable, the sofa bed as well. This unit and property need a major renovation to be able to justify the rates they charge. The rental people did communicate well as far as instructions and recommendations for activities but nowhere near enough to make up for the crappy unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let’s start with the pros. The location to town & in the building (at the end of hall on the 3rd floor) excellent. Quite location in building. However the unit is completely dated. It needs either new carpet or none at all, the bed pillows need to be replace (no head support). The white drapes (or should I say grey) are filthy. Dining room chairs have no seat support ( if your a big person you would probably break the chair). Livingroom furniture should really be replaced. The tv in the living room has a very small screen with local channels only. And for for musical entertainment there is a boom box! There are 3 channel changers for the TV however none of them work. Let me not forget about the black mold in the upstairs bathroom. The TV in the bedroom you need binoculars to see if from the bed. The pictures look great online but quite different when you actually see the unit. To the owners shame on you. To the property manager if this is the way you manage properties shame on you also.

The check in process was smooth and well detailed. Communication with the management property was good; quick responses. The general cleanliness of the condo was very good. The furniture is outdated and the couch felt like it needed to be replaced or the upholstery cleaned. The WiFi was very weak to where it was unusable the whole week. The cable did not work. Management brought a Roku stick but with the WiFi not working it did not work. The tv’s were not much bigger than an iPad anyway. The condo should be listed as a 2 person not 4 as the sofa bed was so old and lumpy that it was unusable. My husband and I had to squeeze our two kids in the King bed with us. The kitchen is bare minimum but functional. The location of the condo is excellent. The lodge in which the condo is located is nice. We would stay in River Mountain lodge again but a different condo.
