Hang up your coats in the boot room (where there are also laundry facilities and a fridge/freezer) and head into the cosy lounge/diner, with comfortable seating around a wood burner. The appealing kitchen is equipped with all you’ll need including two fridges, a microwave and a dishwasher. You’ll also find a family shower room and a WC on this floor, together with a wheelchair-accessible double bedroom with an en-suite wet room. The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor: two king-size, one with an en-suite shower, plus a double, a twin and two singles. There’s a second shower room and a family bathroom on this floor too. Another lovely feature of this superb property is the reading room, a delightful space in which to curl up with some music or a book. Admire the spectacular views from the bench on the lawn, serve up al fresco meals on the patio or stroll around the spacious grounds. The property has ample private parking.
Set at the foot of the Black Mountains, the house is just 500 metres from a country pub serving freshly cooked food. There are numerous trails through the surrounding hillsides, with a hike up Mynydd Troed just 2 miles away. Try water sports at Llangorse Lake (5.5 miles) or archery, climbing or horse riding at Llangorse Multi-Activity Centre. Crickhowell and Hay-on-Wye are both within 11.5 miles.
