“New hotel with really nice design. Not very big but personal and exlusive. Same owner and similar design to Quote Hotel where I stayed many times before. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Good wifi connection without any problems at all with disconnections.
Nice a la carte breakfast. Prefer bufee style but this was also really nice.
The only thing I miss is a gym in the hotel but free access to a professional gym 5 min away with cab. ”

“The Location is a bit off grid. But easy to walk to shooping and food.
The room was nice , good beads and bathroom , hardly any English TV channels ,and impossible to stream from my ipad.
The pool and spa eas great , supernice staff and quiet and soft pools, saunas.
The breakfast was NOT worth the cost , atleast for westerners who prefer that food.
The "cook" the attended the Omelette station was rude and a bit unhealthy , some coughing over the food and he refused to make omelettes upon...
“First time here and I liked it a lot. I came early and the room was not ready so I sat in the service area on the second floor and worked a while. Nice area where you can prepare your own meals.
The room was clean and modern. Just remember, they dont have a restaurant but there are many of them around.”

"The hotel is truly a majestic and beautiful building (although dated) and well worth visiting. Be aware of that it is a tourist attraction and can be very crowded and noisy in the lobby. During our trip (weekend), an army of young girls in princess dresses wrecked havoc in the lobby. It was less than ideal for enjoying a romantic treat in the lobby cafe and the staff were very busy. Not much time for giving us service or attention, which caused an initially disappointed impression. I would say that the lobby cafe is overpriced in regards to the level of service and mediocre quality of food & drink. The interior design is beautiful and we appreciated the white tablecloth and all, but the noisy stressful environment was a let down. We asked a waitress if there was some special event but she said that it's always like that. Seems like kids and tour busses full of backwater mainland Chinese villagers from all over arrive and spend some time in the facility. Forget any notion of dresscode and expect cheap behaviour like blasting cell phone speaker noise in public..
We had dinner in the golden dragon restaurant. A quite nice experience with a good view of downtown Taipei. The service style was a bit different from western restaurants. If you wanted to order, you really had to grab the attention of the staff. Very good food!
