“New hotel with really nice design. Not very big but personal and exlusive. Same owner and similar design to Quote Hotel where I stayed many times before. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
Good wifi connection without any problems at all with disconnections.
Nice a la carte breakfast. Prefer bufee style but this was also really nice.
The only thing I miss is a gym in the hotel but free access to a professional gym 5 min away with cab. ”

“Wonderful hotel, great room with a lovely view over the Daan Park. The location is perfect, right next to red line metro station Daan Park and close to both bus stops and youbike stands. Hotel with a more classic decor and slightly dated but well kept. Attentive service and excellent housekeeping during our 5 days stay. Would definitely come back here again.

“Affärsresande. Tänkte testa ett nytt hotell och valde detta pga goda recensioner men blev mkt besviken. Bad om taxi och någon springer ut i gatan och hämtar en taxi, blev 25% dyrare än normalt. Det är inga pengar att tala om men sådan service är oacceptabel för ett hotell. Jag ber ju om hjälp så jag inte blir lurad. Ingen pool el. bastu (kanske var mitt fel att inte kolla upp) men gym vet jag att jag kollade för det är ett måste. Visade sig att de ställt ut 2 motionscyklar/band och några vikter...

"The hotel is truly a majestic and beautiful building (although dated) and well worth visiting. Be aware of that it is a tourist attraction and can be very crowded and noisy in the lobby. During our trip (weekend), an army of young girls in princess dresses wrecked havoc in the lobby. It was less than ideal for enjoying a romantic treat in the lobby cafe and the staff were very busy. Not much time for giving us service or attention, which caused an initially disappointed impression. I would say that the lobby cafe is overpriced in regards to the level of service and mediocre quality of food & drink. The interior design is beautiful and we appreciated the white tablecloth and all, but the noisy stressful environment was a let down. We asked a waitress if there was some special event but she said that it's always like that. Seems like kids and tour busses full of backwater mainland Chinese villagers from all over arrive and spend some time in the facility. Forget any notion of dresscode and expect cheap behaviour like blasting cell phone speaker noise in public..
We had dinner in the golden dragon restaurant. A quite nice experience with a good view of downtown Taipei. The service style was a bit different from western restaurants. If you wanted to order, you really had to grab the attention of the staff. Very good food!
