Pensionat i Brighton and Hove

“A very typical style for an English Pensionat. Has got the basics and is a good choice for just spending the night in. Location is within walking distance of the city centre, but a stone throw away from the Brighton Pier and the sea with the whole seafront is just outside the main entrance door. ”

“So this was good: - The location. Close to the sea and to stores and the center of town. - The bed. Mattress, pillows, cover, sheets - fresh, comfortable. There are room for improvements: - No cleaning or even emptying of trash in the mon-fri stay. I have no need for getting the bed made or vacuuming in that time, but nothing is not good. I looked for notes to put on the door, like please have a look in here, but there were none. - The balcony door was ajar (not just unlocked, but open)...

Communication: Booked through Hotels.com but messages were sent via Expedia, which did not upload, meaning we did not get the accommodation access code, which we had to chase. Unable to sent messages on Guesty app. 2. Sofabed very uncomfortable. Needs a bed topper. Bed frame did not open fully, I think due to damaged/deformed frame. 3. Main bed frame has wooden features at the end, which means you can hurt your shin or toe...

“Room was clean and cozy but the shower was poor with very low pressure of water. WiFi did not work. Check out time is 11 am and about 3 minutes past 11 when we had nearly finished packing our stuff someone started knocking at our door. At first we thought the knocking was on the door next to us but then the girl of the guesthouse opened our door and came in and although she saw us closing our bags she informed check out is at 11. Very rude we thought and for that we wouldn't stay there again.”
