Great property with a tropical and antique feel. Lovely host, nice breakfast offered in the morning. Very close to Sutton’s Beach and only a short stroll along the foreshore to Bee Gees way and restaurants in Redcliffe.

Bonny is a fantastic host. The rooms are well equipped and the bathroom is great. We have stayed several times at Margate House and thoroughly recommend it.

We had a wonderful couple of days at the Margate House Boutique Bed and Breakfast. Bonny (our host) was delightful, very welcoming and helpful. It is in a great location. The room was lovely and exceptionally clean.

Bonny is very helpful even before we arrived, checkin was very easy, the breakfast were the highlight of our days, fresh fruit, local made fruit jam, honey; Room was clean, well designed, comfortable, our room was on the ground floor, so it felt like we have the entire back garden to ourselves; morning chat with Bonny is always nice and pleasant, it made us feel so welcomed in Redcliffe, definitely stay in Bonny's again next time.

A great place to stay. Close to the beach and many other facilities. Our host, Bonny, was bright, welcoming and friendly. The rooms were small but functional.

Most friendly, helpful and efficient proprieter. Excellent location near the beach. Wonderful evironment (tropical garden), very comfortable room and nearby bus stop with easy access to rail station. 100 recommended and commended.

Margate House Boutique Bed & Breakfast is fantastic. Clean , beautiful décor & breakie was excellent. Bonny the owner is a lovely lady making you very welcome in her lovely home. the gardens , spa & sitting area is great. Would recommend this B&B to anyone staying in or around Margate Qld.

Very welcoming and friendly hostess.
It was a vey nice experience staying at this place. A short stroll to the beach and a few minutes drive to local restaurants and train station. Bonita is a very kind and fun person. She is very helpful; she even washed our clothes and hang them out to dry :) The twin-room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I highly recommand this place to stay if you are on a holiday.

Awesome stay
I had an overnight stay at Margate House B&B while on business close by. The host was simply great and the room was ever so comfortable with access to a private balcony where I enjoyed the surroundings over a quite beer. The B&B is a charming and boutique establishment just a short stroll to the beach and less than five minutes drive to the little township of Redcliffe where the Bee Gees pop group grew up. Redcliffe has a number of good restaurants and of course the 'Bee Gees Way' where one can see and listen to the life of the Bee Gees and their world wide success. As always with establishments such as Margate House, I only wish I could have stayed longer however, I won't hesitate to stay there again when next in the area.

Very comfortable but not on the beach
This is a B&B in a suburban area that is close to the beach. I thought the proprietor was nice, but it was all ruined in the end when she told me of a 10 AM checkout and I was surprised. I said "I had no idea." She said, "It is on the receipt." A lie! I have the receipt and it says nothing about check out and the credit-card receipt never prints those things and was unreadable in ink. I don't even know what I paid, but trusted her. Nice woman, but being rushed out at the end just ruined the experience, and when I asked for another towel, rather than just give me one, she said, "It's on the wall!" In fact, the one on the wall looked slightly shabby. It could have been clean, but I couldn't tell. If she had not rushed me out like this at the last minute, I would have been happy, despite the semi-deceptive picture of the beach on the ad. Breakfast was good, and the host was chatty, but when she was finished talking, she turned as if, even though we were in the kitchen, there were a kettle on the boil.

my stay was most enjoyable and staff was helpful ,, I found the staff very kind and although I was late for breakfast they were happy to allow me to have it and made fresh coffee and toast and also gave fresh fruit what a lovely way to start the day I will always return and recommend to any one ..

Heritage style B&B by the Beach.
A welcoming atmosphere and the comfort of modern facilities in a beautiful heritage style home, make this B&B by the beach a truly delightful experience. The continental breakfast was a feast of fresh tropical fruit with a selection of cereals, breads and yoghurt, freshly brewed coffee. Linen, towels and bedroom furnishings all reflected attention to detail. The Beach is half a block away with a cafe and it is not far to other small local restaurants.

Beautiful spot of the world.
Hubby and I had a night away here.. beautiful big house, with separate entrance for guests. The room is cosy and comfortable, bathroom is gorgeous with a great rain shower. Loved our little stay. So close to the beach and great walks.

Quality by the sea
Beautifully renovated old Queenslsnder that is so close to the beach you can hear the waves at night....very soothing. Bonny is the perfect host who takes pride in her business and is sensitive to her guests' needs. Highly recommended! I'll be back.

A pleasant place to visit.
Our room faced a very attractive backyard. Plenty to view & various places to sit. The room was clean and thoughtfully decorated. The hostess was "the hostess with the mostess".. She could not do enough for us. We would return here AND would recommend this to others.

Absolutely fabulous overnight experience
The room, the bed, the linen,the bathroom, the furnishings, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the proprietor, tea and coffee making, and toiletries were all outstanding. Coupled with a little private patio and a more than adequate continental breakfast as well as being walking distance to the beach and a great fish and chips shop made this one of the best overnight stays I've ever had. Well appointed B&B
This B&B has been designed and fitted with the thoughtfulness of an experienced traveller. Of particular note are the new and spaceous bathroom, the comfortable bed, the direct access to the room from external, and the separate freezer and fridge in the room (very useful for a traveller). Host Bonnie has thought of everything.
