Nice apartment hotel in South Brisbane
This is a apartment hotel, and overall the apartments are well managed and nice for shorter stays in Brisbane. The ares - South Brisbane - is nice with a puzzling restaurant scene, and while the hotel is on easy walking distance to the restaurants it is itself in a quite neighbourhood. Parking is available on site, for 15 AUD a night. The apartment came with a small balcony that was nice to use even in winter. The only real downside during our visit was that we specifically asked for having to separate beds in one of the bedrooms, but were still given two double beds.

Thanks for the review of your stay. It is quite an interesting area to explore around Southbank and West End, Lots of restaurants, eateries and colourful shops. Pleased you liked your apartment and the balcony. Even for winter, Brisbane is having amazing weather right now. Sorry for the mix up with the bedding configuration.

Bra läge vid South Bank
Mörk lägenhet som låg under gatunivå. Fin uteplats som tyvärr aldrig hade sol. Solen nådde heller aldrig poolen. Städningen var under all kritik och på väggarna hängde det larver från klädmalar. Vi tog själva bort alla larver efter att ha fotograferat och filmat dem. Vi klagade på städningen och fick sovrummet dammsugt men bara bakom det ena sängbordet. Bakom det andra låg det fortfarande dammtussar. Managern i receptionen menade att det inte alls var mallarver eftersom man inte har klädslar i Australien vilket var en ren skär lögn. Han hävdade att larverna kom från en buske på altanen. Han var riktigt arrogant. Tråkigt för ett hotell som annars hade fräsch inredning och bra läge.

The location is great! Close to South Banks, town centre and restaurants. The room is spatious, very clean, well equipped. And the staff was was very helpful, serviceminded and nice. I will recommend this to both colleagues and friends. And the wifi is working perfect and without no extra fees ;) - which is not a guarantee in other hotels.

The location was great but just a few everyday items missing. We had no plugs for kitchen sinks or bath. Told we were not allowed to have a bath. The floor drain holes had a foul smell coming out of them.

Exceeded my expectations by a long way. Value for money abd very handy to South Brisbane Trainnstation. Bed very comfy. Well appointed unit that was remarkably quiet. Will be my go to for overnight stays in Brisbane.

I would give this property a higher rating as it was a great location, large apartment, easy parking, great facilities and communication was great. The let down was the terrible smell which seemed to be from lack of ventilation and mould. I was unable to sleep it was so bad and ended up with a sore throat.. such a shame. The hallways had a similar smell so I don’t think it was isolated to my room.

Staff were very accomodating. Rooms were a good size, shower though was tiny. Close walking distance to everything. That was the real bonus. I would stay again.

The location was convenient and check in process was easy. The carpet had tufts of other people’s hair all over, too many to count and having a crawling baby made it all the more gross. I called Reception for a vacuum or room change as soon as we had checked in but it was close to end of day and the call went unanswered, called the after hours number and left a message and sent an email but had no response. Apparently after requesting a vacuum the following morning it was done but the room was no cleaner. Glitter and more hair throughout the bathrooms and drawers etc. Garbage chute was very smelly. Second room had no aircon.

Great place to stay clean, spacious and tidy. Close to Southbank. Lovely balcony and everything you need for a great stay! Bonus was the fabulous cafe downstairs providing excellent coffee and service! Lovely place to stay when visiting Brisbane - we will be back and plan to stay longer next time !

perfect spot for exploring brisbane or even concerts/ new years - a little mould in the bathroom - all the consumables were really generous and well-thought out - so many times our family doesn't have enough washing up detergent, shampoo etc. but there was a perfect amount. this unit also has excellent storage and layout - so would be perfect for a much longer stay with a great equiped kitchen as well and enough seats which is also something many units don't have. will definetly be staying again.

The property is wonderful and many families enjoyed the safe and well-appointed amenities of the property. My only gripe is the lack of a physical presence of any member of the team. I left something behind in my room and any attempt at raising anybody from Morgan Suites to address my issue has fallen on deaf ears. It is extremely frustrating. EXTREMELY! Remote or satelite holiday experiences are the ‘go’ these days! It’s cheaper for the organisation but less than satisfactory for the client. Oh, if only someone answered the phone, email or text -and I have sent more than I should have had to - and I would be a happy EX client.
