“The hotel does a pretty decent buffet breakfast, with lots of hot and cold items. The only real downside is the walls of the rooms are semi thin, and you can hear your neighbors on all side. The hotel is older, but still in decent shape. The pool is a bit small, but good enough and its a nice touch with the slide. I would stay here again, just maybe bring a white noise machine or ear plugs. Oh and again...although this seems to be a recurring thing....the pillows were way too flat.”

“The heat system was horrible. It was so loud to have the heat on but soon after you turned it off the room became very cold. The floors were so cold you had to wear shoes inside. It was extremely drafty around both the door entrance and the balcony doors. There seemed to be little or no thought for being environmentally conscious at all which seemed very odd in a national park. For the high price we paid this was nothing more than an average motor motel. ”

“Lovely stay at the Lodge and Lantern. Staff was very helpful, complimentary snacks appreciated and comfortable and unique room. Only slight observation is the walls were rather thin so hearing talking between the walls and squeaky wooden bed and floor, I could see some people finding it annoying. However it was completely fine for my needs and not bothersome.”
