“This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. In the layout of The Artiste, you walk into the living room, into the bathroom, then into the bedroom, and finally the kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, the historical items throughout and especially enjoyed our meal at the Angry Goat Restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food The manager of the train station, Matthew, added to out experience by adding historical information we did not previously know. He was friendly and extremely helpful during our stay.”

It could have been stale water in the washing machine hoses? The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the satellite TV since it rained most of the day on Saturday.”
