âNice hotel downtown, close to restaurant and bars. The neighborhood is overwhelmed with the homeless population so traveling outside alone is not recommended, however with a group it was fine. â

âI recently stayed at the historic Upjohn House Bed and Breakfast in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo, and it was a truly memorable experience. This beautifully restored mansion is decorated with charming period details that give it an elegant, old-world atmosphere while still offering modern comforts.
I stayed for two nights and loved how easy it was to walk to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions downtown. I also attended a concert at Miller Auditorium, which was conveniently located...
âHighly recommend especially for more than 1 night stays! The extra space offered in the rooms makes being away from home much easier. Staff was lovely and property is well kept. â

Then we had to extend our stay for two more days and the staff was extremely helpful with the process.
All the staff , front desk to housekeeping were super friendly and helpful.â
âI liked the option to cook in my room. I liked having food for purchase in the lobby. I would have liked firmer pillows and will look for a chair option versus just the desk. Overall, very pleased with the stay.â
âThe TV remote had no batteries, the hotel room was not as advertised, the towels were stained, the tub was stained and 2 minutes after checking in some loitering outside your hotel asked if they could bum a cigarette. Every time I left the room that same woman was standing by someones hotel room door. â
