  • Oceanfront reträtt kyssas av vågorna och välsignad av solen. Wild Blue Two är en separat bottenvåning vid havet, inbäddad på en bluff ovanför havet med pittoreska fönster som lämnar dig mållös. Panoramiska solnedgångar och ett oändligt hav väntar på dig. Se fiskebåtar och valmigration från vardagsrummet. Denna helt ombyggda lägre nivå separata bostadshus med fyra sovplatser ger tillgång till en sittgrupp med en eldstad i klippkanten med utsikt över havet. Barn under tio är inte tillåtna på grund av bluffen. Gå till Harris Beach. Ingen direkt tillgång till stranden just nu.

The house a view from the four story rock terrace. The 10 minute walk to beach all down hill through winding trail. The home is 60’s-70’s decor and is quaint. We had a quiet stay. The homeowners we think we’re not home. The shower is about 5 ft high had to bend down to get under shower head . The host was quick to respond to me.

Quiet, restful location where we could enjoy from the couch, the deck, or down on the beach. Amazing views and good communication with the owner.

Relaxing stay!

This property was fantastic for my husband & I. The owners are incredibly friendly and the views simply cannot be beat. We had everything we needed and the property is in a great location to everything in Brookings!

Gorgeous views

The views were outstanding! We also enjoyed the pool table and the fire pit overlooking the ocean. Very comfortable bed and appreciated the beach towels.

The place had an amazing view of the ocean. Everything was as described. Easy arrival and it was a close drive to town. Hosts were quiet and the path down to the beach was accessible, a little overgrown but fine. It was a pleasant stay for us.

Great experience with a great view!

The place was very nice. Comfortable beds, gorgeous views with access to the beach. It was quiet and felt very safe. Brookings is a small town with some nice restaurants. This part of the Oregon coast is amazing. We really enjoyed the pool table too.

An amazing place to soak in ocean views

Loved staying here. Right on a bluff overlooking a beautiful beach. Had coffee out on the bluff in the morning... We did not cook in the kitchen--just breakfast and lunch stuff, but kitchen did not seem equipped enough to whip up a gourmet meal. Beds very comfortable; hosts very responsive. Trail down to the beach is steep and is not "easy" but is totally doable-and the hosts provide good walking sticks!

Road Trip 2023

Cut little basement apartment with an awesome view! As others have stated, it is dated but I found that charming. The living area was cozy. We went down to the beach a few times which was amazing. Pathway was a bit hard but found our way.

The beach access was a plus, but the quiet and the accomodation prepared for the stay was well thought out. Did I say it was quiet? It was very peaceful vacation Ive had in a while. A very good get away to escape the busy world for a minute. The seating right outside overlooking the ocean is just a good spot to stare into without any thought. 10/10 would do again.

The place was beautiful, as was the view. It is a very steep hike down to the beach and back up. The owners of the property live in the upper level of the house, but were quiet, nice, and gave us no trouble at all. The master bed was comfortable. There’s a pull-out sleeper where my son slept and my daughter slept on the couch. The only downfall is that there is no central air, climate control, or ceiling fans, which was a bit problematic for my asthmatic child. It was very warm when we were there, but we found a fan in the bedroom closet and tried to keep the windows open when we could. We would stay again!

Firepit and Secret Beach Access

Host was super helpful, came down to fix hot water issue. Firepite and trail to beach were perfect, though better have your mud boots on for the trail! Privacy, sunsets galore, and perfect location, never mind the freaking POOL TABLE!!! Quaint old school kitchen is just my style, but don't expect 6 gas burners. Push button analog all day baby! Bocce ball in rock yard, and nice neighborhood walks.

Great ocean view from downstairs mother in law unit.

This is a clean, well kept and well stocked downstairs MIL unit that has a great ocean view in the Harris Beach Rainbow rock area. It has 5 rooms (LR, Kit., BR, Bath, and large entry with couch/ hide a bed); the LR includes a pool table. It may be the change in seasons that brought them in, but there were rodents (mice?) Inside the wall at the head of the bed. Their scritching and scratching at night woke us up a few times. Still, we would return for another stay.

Beautiful view!

We enjoyed the stay very much. But there are a few things that need corrected. There was ALOT of dead bugs all over the floor. Big centipede things. The heat didn’t work right and it got very chilly. The bed is very uncomfortable. Not enough padding at all. And the pillows are awful. We met the owner and it was a pleasure.

Perfect Views

Check in was easy. The place was clean. The only reason for 4 stars instead of five was the cabinet over the stove…evidently housekeeping forgot to look there a while ago. There were potatoes with long sprouts. Anyway we enjoyed the views, hiking sticks, coffee, & beach towels provided. The fire pit was an added bonus. Did I mention the views? Breath taking! I would have liked a few more wash cloths as we were there several days. There were plenty of towels though. Would I stay here again? Absolutely yes!! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The owners are nice and have a great place, but they haven’t fixed or updated anything in decades. If the price wasn’t so high per night, I probably wouldn’t complain, but the rate didn’t match the stay. The view and proximity to hiking and things to do is the best part of this location. My biggest complaint is the residents upstairs were loud every night. I’m not sure if they were moving furniture or having a dance off upstairs. There would be banging around upstairs every evening. The creepy part for me is there are stairs that connected the 1st floor to the 2nd floor where we stayed. It just kind of creeped me out knowing the owners had access to walk down at any time. Overall, it had everything we needed, but nothing was comfortable. All the furniture and bed is ancient

Poor check in, beautiful view

Our stay started very awkwardly after arriving to a locked gate and inability to enter the property. Tried calling multiple contacts with no response other than the property management company’s emergency line. We ended up getting let in by the property owners who were surprised by our presence and frustrated with the situation. They let us in and we did not hear back from anyone after. The view is incredible and the unit itself is nice for a weekend stay. It was not cleaned very well with piles of dead bugs, dust, debris on floors. Worth it if the property/property owners are aware of renting out their property. Property owners were very kind despite their frustration.

Wedding trip

The view of the ocean was absolutely breathtaking but we were quite disappointed to discover the apartment was attached to a house that is being lived in. We could hear noises from upstairs. The apartment was not cleaned of cobwebs and spiders before we got in there, and there were quite a few of both. The check in process was not communicated to us and we had to ring the house doorbell for the homeowner to tell us what the code to the lockbox was. Had it not been for the view, we likely would have just stayed at a local inn.

Awesome View and Location

Like others have noted, this property is dated but well maintained. Natural air conditioning with fan assist. Don't recommend for small, active children due to high vertical walls for overlook in back. The view of the ocean and rock formations are second to none. The pictures don't do justice to in person view. Brookings is a quaint town and lots of food choices. Redwood Forest very close to south. We will definately return to the area.

Comfortable but dated accommodation. Pool table was a plus. Keep kitchen clean to avoid problems with ants.
