“We attended a 3-day event at the Michigan International Speedway and after a long, busy (loud) day we were giddy to retire to this soft, quiet place and renew. The house is beautifully appointed, relaxing, spacious and the view from the back deck over the lake melts away any stress from the day. Melinda is a wonderful host - thank you for everything!”

“Had extra stuff (games, air pump, blankets, kayaks) and firewood (maybe left over from previous guest, I'm not sure but I appreciated it). There was some stuff left in the fridge (e.g., condiments), which is nice especially if you didn't bring everything. You do have to cross the road to get to the beach & lake, but the lake is sandy-bottomed. It's in the description, but the master bedroom and bunk room share a ceiling so you can hear like you're in the same room. Good amount of space and nice...

“Good little place to stay. We didn’t get much time to do much on the property as we were there for a family loss, but if we had time, it was very spacious. Nice views of the lake. The home is a little out dated, but it’s a little town so it wasn’t something unexpected. Showers are smaller than usual, but manageable. Overall good little getaway for affordable price.”

“Wonderful lakefront house nestled in Irish Hills area. Very secluded and host is extremely accommodating. Great for families as there is an orchard nearby with fun things to do with kids of all ages. The house is very modern and clean. Our family did a weekend trip to celebrate our oldest daughters birthday. We were here in peak fall color and thoroughly enjoyed the colors and serenity.”

“The house was so relaxing and perfect for our family lots of space. The pontoon boat was definitely worth the money due to was able to go out on lake as much as we wanted. Neighborhood is really only 1 big block and worth walking around not sure golf cart was needed. Loved having access to the basketball hoop.”

“My family and I (including fur babies) came to stay for a family wedding and we absolutely loved it!! It is so hard to find a place that accepts dogs nevertheless offer a fence for them! The dogs loved it as well. The view is priceless! Also, we were so impressed on the items that were offered. It makes you feel like you are at home when you aren't. “We stayed 5 days during our son's graduation from UM. While it's approx. a 30 min drive from Ann Arbor, it was a perfect location for us to get out of the craziness of AA during this time. Enjoying the evenings watching the sunsets over the lake was perfect ends to each days activities. The house has all the amenities needed, including fully stocked kitchen for all our cooking needs. The beds were also very comfortable and it helped to have the 3 full baths for us to get ready in each morning....

“Very nice and clean. Got my own bathroom during the stay. Incredibly kind host who drove me 5+ hours for me to get to the total solar eclipse I came to America to see. Saved me probably 600 dollars out of the kindness of her heart. There is not alot to see in the town, but it's nice and quiet. Absolutley zero complaints!”

“This property was very beautiful and this house felt like a mansion. I went with a group of 18 guys including me. We had a really fun time, our goal was to have a retreat because I was getting married. The owner was great and the surrounding town was great as well. I just wish that I had held my group accountable for some things that happened during our stay but overall it was a great experience that I hope someone else can enjoy.”

“The. Cottage was clean & bright with all the amenities. The hot tub & gas fire were wonderful.Who ever thought of the door to close off main living from bedrooms was genious, specially for early to bed & rise folks.The trails and the view were just lovely.We were a busy graduation family group that so much enjoyed the property!”
