“This was my wife and I's second year at Travis's camp on Madigan point rd. The cabin was clean and bright the added bonus of the heat pump was very welcome on the hot sticky nights providing us with cool air conditioned comfort. We discovered two fabulous family friendly spots (birch point and Norway point) in and around dark cove that were relatively short kayak paddles from the camp. “This hidden gem is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Right on the lake and minutes from great hiking, this place is hard to beat! Secluded yet close enough to Lincoln and Millinocket in case you need supplies or want to sample local food and beer. The water was still a bit cold so we didn't take advantage of the kayaks but would have loved to. We will surely be back another time!!”
