'De Hoedenmaker': flamländskt hus från 16-talet i Bruges historiska centrum

"De Hoedenmaker," är ett exceptionellt vackert semesterhus. Det ligger i hjärtat av Brygge. Fasaden är byggd i den traditionella trappgavelstilen som är typisk för de finaste flamländska husen. Det är ett charmigt och elegant hus byggt 1675. Beläget i det fridfulla och lugna området i kvarteret Saint Gilles, cirka 400 meter norr om stadens medeltida hamn och bara 10 minuters promenad från torget och klocktornet. 'De Hoedenmaker' är ett treplanshus med totalt 110 kvadratmeter boyta, totalrenoverat 2003 och renoverat 2017. Nytt badrum 2019.

Köket har ett komplett utbud av köksredskap och bestick. På första våningen finns 2 separata sovrum med en queen size-säng i varje. En av drottningarna kan vid behov separeras i två sängar. På andra våningen, i anslutning till det stora sovrummet, finns en enkelsäng (full storlek enkelsängar för vuxna). På första våningen finns ett komplett badrum och en andra toalett på bottenvåningen. Centralvärme. Huset vetter mot söder och tar in mycket sol året runt. Den har också en privat inmurad terrass och tvättstuga. I vardagsrummet hittar du kabel-TV, DVD, böcker, ... Snabb WiFi är tillgängligt gratis. NETFLIX är tillgängligt om du är medlem.

Gäster som vill besöka Brygge kommer att njuta av stadens underbara atmosfär. Huset ligger i en mycket lugn historisk del av Brygge. Du kommer att älska denna avkopplande resort och omedelbart känna dig som hemma. Gäster som vill besöka Brygge kommer att njuta av stadens underbara atmosfär. Närmaste rekommenderade restaurang på 50 m: "Tom's Dinner". Turistiska broschyrer om Brygge och dess omgivningar finns tillgängliga.

Perfect stay in a quiet, beautiful & clean home

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house in Bruges. The whole place was ours, and it was located in a very quiet area, which made it perfect for relaxing. Everything was really well thought out, the whole house was super clean, and we felt completely at home.The bathroom was a real highlight, and the small courtyard was great for having breakfast. The rooms were nicely decorated and very comfortable. With beautiful view from the windows. The host was super friendly and gave us great local tips that really enhanced our trip.Bruges was amazing – and staying here made it even better. Highly recommended!

Updated Medieval Charm

This was my second stay at this property. The first was with my elderly parents and this time with my wife and teenage daughters. Both times we found the property to be a nicely updated medieval cottage with everything we needed. It is a short walk from the town center, but is situated on a quiet street. There are several great restaurants nearby. The owner greeted us when we arrived and gave us a thorough introduction to the property and town. We loved it both times.

The best VRBO we've ever stayed in!

My family of 5 stayed for 3 nights, and we all agreed Pascal's place was amazing! It was spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the patio area at breakfast time. We loved being in a quiet area that was still close enough to walk to everything.

Perfect for family with teens

Just a 10 minute walk from town center, spotlessly clean, and comfortable beds. Pascal was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. One of my top VRBO experiences.

Just Right

We had the most lovely stay at De Hoedenmaker! Pascal was incredibly helpful and generous with his travel advice and area recommendations for food, sightseeing, etc. We had our 6 and 4 year old in tow and the house suited us perfectly. It was stocked and well appointed and very comfortable. Perhaps most of all the location is just ideal - steps from the bustle of the city but tucked in a true residential area. A gem not to be missed. We can't wait to return!

Great host and fantastic little property

Pascal was great, he communicated well and was helpful prior to arrival. The property is in a quiet area but literally minutes from the busy streets, which is nice relief from the crowds. So great suggestions for restaurants on Du Phare on the outer ring mostly locals and food excellent-our favourite of the trip. Pascal even came to pick us up at the station as he knew it was very busy. He checked us in and took time to point out attractions and places of interest. a very enjoyable Christmas stay.

Der Aufenthalt war unter alles sauer , so dass wir nach 1 Nacht ins Hotel mussten.Angegeben war die Unterkunft mit 3 separaten Schlafzimmern , was aber nicht stimmt weil um in das 3 Schlafzimmwr zu gelangen muss man durch das Hauptschlafzimmer durch.Die Heizung schaltete sich auch ab 21.30 Uhr ab , sodass es dan um 24uhr bereits nur noch 15Grad im Haus hatte.Und das schlimmste war das wir im Schlafzimmer hinter dem Heizkörper alles voll Schimmel war, was mit einem Baby garnicht geht.Der Vermieter ist null darauf eingegangen sodass wir jetzt in Deutschland einen Anwalt nehmen

Delightful Home in Ideal Location

Charming and comfortable, De Hoedenmaker was the perfect place to stay on my first visit to Bruges. Pascal met us to orient us to the house and the city, and made great recommendations. The historic house is beautifully appointed and had everything we needed, including very comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The terrace was a lovely place to sit and enjoy a meal. The location was quiet yet close to the major attractions and beautiful canals. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. Great property, great host.

Lovely house - full of character

Relaxing Bruges

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful home while visiting Bruges. We were so close to the center of town and walked everywhere in Bruges from there. Off the beaten track

This property was exactly as seen in the pictures. Unfortunately, the adjacent property is now boarded up and the one across the street is empty and for sale therefore the street lacks curb appeal. However, it is quiet and nice to be away from the busy city centre but only a 10 minute walk to get there. Also, Tom's diner is an amazing restaurant that is a stone's throw away. The inside of the property is also as pictured. We did find the stairway precarious as two of us have mobility issues. The beds and bedding were very comforable and the kitchen had what was needed for our stay. Pascal was very lovely and explained the area and attractions. He was also very accommodating with our check in process. Communication was excellent.

Perfect for Family Get Together

The location was perfect for us - in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the Markt area. The house was very comfortable and provided everything we needed for a group of 4 adults. The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and very clean (as was the rest of the house). The sitting room and patio were great places for us to gather and plan our day or enjoy a beer together in the afternoon. Our hosts were very friendly and took the time to provide advice on where to eat and places to see. I really appreciated that Pascal accommodated our needs and checked in with us throughout the week. A few additional details about the home … the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was stocked with plenty of fresh towels. Large master bedroom. Note - the third bedroom is accessed through the master. The electronic lock at the front door eliminated the need to manage keys. It was a delightful stay and we highly recommend it to others!

Prima verblijf, midden in het centrum.

De communicatie met Pascal is vlot en vriendelijk. Het huisje is erg charmant en ligt op een mooie (en tevens rustige) locatie midden in het centrum (paar minuten lopen). Ik heb het verblijf als zeer prettig ervaren en zou het iedereen aanraden.

Excellent property and really great location. Host very helpful. Only small issues were access by vehicle/parking is not easy, accuracy of parking charges needs update .. and third bedroom is accessed via hatch from 2nd bedroom.
