Love the modern decor and the big rooms. Cool feature to have front and back doors. The room profile showed a hammock which was one of the reasons I picked lower floor but there were no hammocks. Was a little noisy as I was near the stairs and windows didn’t seem to seal completely but overall a lovely little motel with updated decor and facilities

Really loved this quaint hotel- every detail was thought through. Wish we had more time to sit by the pool and order coffees. Very accommodating and friendly.

Loved the huge pool and outdoor area. Located in a quiet area and close to the centre of town, so easily walkable, but the free bikes to use whenever we wanted was a welcome addition. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a short stay. The staff were very helpful and so friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the location, close to restaurants and the beach. Rooms were clean, bed was super comfy! Check in was quick. Amazing pool area! I would highly recommend!

Very small room. Impractical bathroom sink- tiny, couldn’t fill the kettle to make a cup of tea because the sink and tap were so small.

We are sorry it wasn't up to your standards! Try one of our king rooms next time! There is a small jug in the room to fill the kettle :)

The staff great especially Alice. The pool is beautiful and decor was chosen with care that keeps the mid century vibe. Highly recommend saying here.

Stayed two nights in August 2023. Old style motel refurbished into cool beach look. Nicely decorated but no comfortable chairs and bathroom facilities very cramped. Fridge turned into minibar and no freezer - not practical for travellers. Lovely pool and garden area

Fire alarm went off early morning and no one on site to help sort out the panic so kind of ruined a nice quiet weekend away handing around in a freezing cold carpark for half an hour with all the guests.

We are so sorry about this false alarm, luckily we had someone on site within 5-10 minutes along with the fire brigade to make sure there was no actual threat to anyone's safety!

Pleasantly surprised
Loved our room with an entry door and a door to the pool area. Newly and very tastefully re-furned Although not quite where we expected it to be, a lovely walk to the town centre.

A really convenient location for restaurants & shopping in Bruns. Try the Happy Dolphin for breakfast & Bruns Bakery for meat pies and sweets. Nice pool and lounges, comfortable bed, and a wonderful ceiling fan. The staff are thoughtful and friendly. Overall, a great place to stay.

Hi Anthony, thank you for taking the time to feedback. We are sorry to hear that you didn't think the stay was great value. We do have clothing steamers in the room and an ironing board and iron are available from reception.

The best hotel we stayed at in Australia, in the best town, in the best location. Wonderful, helpful staff andnit was so good we cancelled some travel plans to come back and stay a second time.
