“The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. “Wildwood Resort is an excellent place offering peace and quiet just don't go there in their offseason. A major drawback is the resort does not have any backup power such as a generator for IF the power goes out. During my stay there was a cold, windy,, rainy storm and the electricity went out and was out all night it was very cold in the 30's outside and it got very cold in my unit. I went to the office and a note was on the door saying that the staff had left early. There was no one available...

“Not impressed”

“Good location for where we were going. Close to a few restaurants. The staff was less than friendly. Staff was very rude. The room had a sewer gas leak and stunk just enough to be annoying. We only stayed one nite. And with the staff being rude, u didnt want to call and ask for another room. I was too tired. Do not recommend. ”

“About what you'd expect for this type of accomodation. Room was clean enough but the beds were annoyingly soft. The WiFi didn't work - I told the front desk at least three times and they said they'd take care of it, but didn't. The included breakfast was two types of cereal and milk, or bagels. The juice machine was broken and looked like it had been for quite a while. If cheap is your priority this is where you should stay.”
