"This was a lovely place. We stayed in "El pájaro" (the rooms are named for Lotería cards, which I love). It was absolutely huge. Large living area, super-comfy couch, full kitchen, dining room table, two queen beds, separated by a wall so it feels like two bedrooms, and a balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. Iván and the other staff were super-friendly (as were the guests!). It is very pretty. The one negative is location if you are not in a car. (If you are, there's free parking and you're set) You can get to/from Bucerías on bus easily and very cheaply, but it's almost impossible to walk anywhere. There are no cafés, shops, in walking distance and Carretera de la Playa is essentially a highway so you can't walk on it. It would have been great if we could buy milk, bolillos, a beer, the basics walking distance. The beach immediately to the right of Casa María is privatized and you can't walk there, which is a bummer, though you can walk left. We walked to Bucerías on the beach, but it's quite rocky and a very narrow beach, so not easy and doing it with groceries it would be very difficult. (If you want to drive to restaurants, no problem, but we were eating "in") We loved Casa Maria itself and it was still a great visit and I do recommend it. Also, there is one fancy hotel just down the highway (that you can walk to in 3 min) that has a restaurant. We had a beer there on the veranda one night and it was really beautiful. (Baklava is the name - they have a website)"

"My wife and I stayed in this beautiful apartment for two weeks and it was a wonderful stay. The location of the apartment was perfect for us. The building is located right on the beach, and is close to everything. The check-in was easy. Stefano (host) had his property manager meet us there and made sure we got in. The apartment looks better than the pictures. It has a lot of natural light coming in and great A/C. The amenities were great. The two swimming pools were an added bonus. We used the one on the roof top for the most part. The gym has a 180 degree view of the town and lots of natural light coming in. I loved the private entrance to the apartment, however, it is worth mentioning the elevator opens up directly to your apartment. This was never an issue for us and we always felt safe. You'll find restaurants nearby and an oxxo a few steps away. The host was very responsive and helpful. His prompt and informative responses made our stay even more pleasant. The apartment has all of the basics needed. Of note, access to the building is through your fingerprint. This is important to some. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. Stefano made us feel at home and at ease. I highly recommend his place."

"We loved that there were no sales people pressuring around time share purchases and day trips. The staff were all so friendly and we loved the relaxed vibe of the resort. We do wish the pools were open a little later and that there were coffee makers in the room but this was totally manageable. We were able to get coffee early at the buffet restaurants."

"The customer service was excellent and very attentitive! The food was great and at very reasonable prices. The 3 bedroom suite was very accomodating and had A/C's in EACH bedroom! I just wish was a usable beach because it had a lot of rock washed up. Overall, great experience and would definitely come back!"

"This was a wonderful condo, right on the beach and with all the amenities. Our group of friends was very comfortable here for 6 nights. Ideal location, great pool and beach access, plenty of shops, restaurants and Uber drivers close by. Easy to pop into PV or go up the coast to San Pancho or Sayulita. We shopped and cooked a lot, but also availed ourselves of taco stands on the “upper east side” and great restaurants. As others have said, not for those who have mobility issues due to need to use stairs for one flight. Things we suggest would be: an oven and sharp knives, could have used more bath and hand towels (though laundry is possible across the street), directions for toaster oven, a newer dishwasher as this one left food on dishes regularly,"

"The property is beautiful, amazing views, spent a lot of time by the pool which was well cared for with chairs cleaned every morning. However, the private hot tub in our room (the reason we booked this suite) had some debris pop out of the jets and we didn’t feel comfortable using it :( Overall our time there was great."
