“Was looking for a cabin that was away from all the noise on the 4th of July. Heard a little bit of noise off in the distance but barely. Definitely more of a hunting lodge, with nice tree stands close by. The beds having no frame is a little uncomfy but all in all was a great stay If you are looking to get away in the middle of nowhere.”

“Everything was just as described with no surprises! Check in was a breeze and the property was quaint and quiet. Love the pond and definitely has some good fishing! It was a perfect getaway to unwind from city life for a few days. Hocking hills is no more than 30 minutes away, mostly due to the winding roads to get there. Town (McArthur) is 5 minutes away with some gas stations and a local market, in case you forgot to bring anything with you. Will certainly be back to this location! ”

“Great weekend stay! We noticed the fire pit was burnt out but it also looked like they were replacing them this weekend. The bed was mostly comfy and the hot tub was great! The drive in was a little confusing with the junk yard and a few more blankets and pillows could be nice but either way we had a great weekend. ”

The cabin was very clean and maintained however there was a pretty bad gnat problem in the bathroom. “Michelle was an excellent host. She was very friendly and talked to us each day we were there. Just so you know, this is a cabin. There is no running water or toilet. There is a shower house and port a john. Both were very clean and we really enjoyed the cabin itself. “When we walked in, we had to sweep automatically there was dog bones under the bed… went to put coffee by the coffee machine and there was grease all over the coffee machine had to go out and buy a coffee maker mold in the bathroom. They hide it behind a hamper and when I addressed it, nobody said anything but other than that check-in was awesome and all the hiking was great”
