“We brought our own motor boat easy to access from public launch. Live locally just brought truck trailer back home. Had our own private dock which was great! Site was clean and completely set up to relax! Even firepit had been prepped w wood! From silverware to fresh water of plenty, to bedding, med kit, bug spray, charged batteries for fan/ lantern. The shared outhouse was very clean as well. The only tweak I would suggest is to have extra toulet paper in holder in bathroom and have much bigger...

“I will return. I could have stayed longer. It was a nice respite from a stressful life. Hosts were amazing. Extremely accommodating! My dog loved being able to swim (and chase sticks - finally learned to bring them back to the beach) every day. I think it helped that the hosts left a container of the training cookies. And they left a dog bowl, which I forgot. The wood stove was perfect for keeping us warm at night and when my dog was a still chilly after her swims. Again, I will return!”

“Beautiful clean house! Close to Sunday River which was the reason for our stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Two kitchen spaces were great for the group! Would stay again ”

“Overall, the yurt was located near town and the ski areas.The biggest complaint was the neighbors. Partied two nights in a row loudly and late…Noisiest I’ve ever had the wilderness be….It was a short stay I wished we could have acclimated to the place more. Would love to explore the trails and more around Bethel. Building and bathhouse are nicely done. Outhouse…needed some lime plus I’m not sure the party goers next door were great to share it with…bad aim.”

The location was incredibly convenient (only about 20 minutes from Sunday River) which made getting to and from the mountain quick. Seth was an outstanding host from start to finish. He was extremely responsive, easy to communicate with, and always willing to help with any questions we had, whether it was about the house or local recommendations.
