“My partner and I didn't quite know what ro expect from "luxury" accommodations in the jungles of Belize. Especially, as a gay couple, we can never be sure of the locals reception of us. We booked the Luxury Villa room. It was spacious and spotless with a wonderful shower and a comfortable king-size bed. “I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again.”

“Nice comfortable place!”

“I absolutely loved my stay at the Drift Inn in Cayo. Bike rental was cheap and convenient, though I wish they had bike locks. Air conditioning was so nice to have. Great atmosphere, live music and karaoke on weekends, staff were all very social and welcoming. Made me feel right at home. Their restaurant also had some of the best food I’ve had in all of Belize. If you like Belizean culture, sometimes they have the Garifuna Collective play a concert, sadly I missed it! I would recommend this...
