We have a strict 10pm curfew in the BBQ/fire pit area. This area backs directly onto our neighbours bedroom windows and we like our neighbours :)

Great for groups

The Pill Factory was a fabulous place to celebrate my 60th. Very well appointed with absolutely everything you might need. Claudia was extremely helpful with additional information. 28 of us fit very comfortably. Ihifhly recommend it.

A 50th weekend to remember

We booked this place for my 50th birthday weekend and it did not disappoint. With enough rooms for friends, family and kids and a location that allowed people to walk in and out of town for coffee and brekky. The bar area and pool table was a hit. And bringing in caterers for a massive sit down dinner really created a weekend to remember. Thanks to the hosts for making everything so easy.

A Fabulous 40th

I spent an awesome weekend here with a group of 15 friends celebrating my 40th birthday. What a fantastic place, honestly it was so much fun! It’s like having a really cool pub all to yourselves. It fit us all in comfortably with plenty of space to either relax with a book, watch a movie on the giant projector screen or hang out in the bar playing pool or darts. The quirky shower curtains were a real bonus and we couldn’t help but take lots of photos with them. Claudia the owner was super friendly and helpful and we can’t wait to book another stay!

A great place with everything in reach

The Australian Grand Canyon is just around the corner. The local towns near by have great products and produce and a few 4wd tracks close by as well. We had a great time at the Pill Factory and easily accommodated multiple family with kids. Claudia was a great host and always responsive. I would high recommend for any large group weekender. It had everything you could need to serve up many feasts.

Excellent stay

We had a wonderful time at the Pill Factory. It was lovely, spacious and mysterious (in some ways) place to stay. We chose this accommodation cause we specifically want to have a large group weekend getaway. Only about 1.5 hours from Sydney, Bundanoon is such a great place to visit for a two days and two night’s trip. Arriving the Pill Factory at Friday night, we were so impressed by the building and the décor inside. You need plenty of time to enjoy the facilities. It was a very spacious place to stay, 13 big and well-maintained rooms with 4 toilets. The games room have pool able, darts and even an old fashion arcade which gave us so much fun at night. The kitchen is fully stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, cutler, plates, utensils, dishwashing tablets, tea pot and even a coffee making machine. Two huge outdoor BBQ facility allowed us to make dinner within no time. We had a great fun by roasting marshmallows and prawns over the wood fire. Although we do experienced some difficulty to light our first fire?. The real treat of the Pill Factory was the peace and quiet I guess. Far away from city we loved sitting by the wood fire, watching Milky Way and having a beer. The local attractions are all within 30 minutes’ drive, Morton National Park, Kangaroo Valley, Glow Warm walk and the Sunnataram Forest Monastery (a Thai temple) are all worth a visit. Can’t recommend enough, only the weekend was too short.

We had a special week end!

3 families stayed for 3 nights and we loved the property and the area. We enjoyed the atmosphere, something you can't create in a new building. The open fire (with lots of wood already chopped); the fire pit; beautiful beds and rooms. 7 kids did their own thing while we 6 adults seem to find cool, quirky spots to hang and chat (kitchen, bar, pool table, fire, kitchen steps, fire pit). 2 hours from home in Sydney makes this very easy. For someone who normally goes to the coast this was a breath of fresh inspiration. This property has something special and the owners are very helpful, thank you Claudia. We could have stayed a week and next time we will.

The ultimate location for a bowral getaway

We were a large group of guys for a bucks party. The pill factory was the perfect venue for us, especially the large bar area, we had enough room to run kegs from the fridge, with video games, pool table & darts kept everyone happy. The large rooms with roaring fireplaces were also a great place to chill out and chat inbetween the fun times & activities. All the guests were amazed by the venue "how did you get this place?" was the typical response. The management were very helpful with our numerous requests and very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended!
