“Negatives: Cobwebs all over the ceilings in room and bathroom. Bathroom seen better days, very worn/mouldy stains. No heating, at least not functioning. Beds rock hard and bedding torn. Breakfast options mediocre. Pub stopped serving food quite early in the evening and didn’t always offer everything that was on the menu. Positives: good size room/bathroom. Nice with the adjacent pub. Big garden and parking lot. Bus stop nearby (3 min walk). Friendly staff.”

“Loved that my room was in the main house. My room was small but it faced the garden where I could watch birds and squirls. Missed the hedgehogs. My bathroom was a few steps away from the room and it was good. The shower was pretty small. I got in but could not move around so I decided to wash off in sinks. The staff were wonderful to me. The manager told me more about the Manor House and it's age. At one time my family lived there so it was exciting to be able to stay. Breakfast was...

“i was under the impression that the property was an old style pub with rooms, when i booked. But it turns out just to be a bed and breakfast. The room was lovely and had everything you need, plus more, like a trouser press, a bottle of filtered water with the coffee and tea facilities, a microwave in the shared lobby and plenty of parking and nice outside space to spend in the sunshine/evening”

“1. Absolutely atrocious checkin and checkout. If my friend (in another city in the Uk) didn’t have a local sim, I wouldn’t be able to checkin at all. Checkout was just as bad. I sent 5 emails to Expedia, multiple to the property and none form the property were answered. Checkin and checkout instructions were not provided. The reception was in another building but that was never communicated. 2. No toiletries were provided. 3. No coffee or tea was provided. 4. Booked the room for 2 people...
