“We did not enjoy our stay at this guest house and ultimately left one night early. Our “superior lakeview suite” did not have any view of a lake, but the neighbors house and the street view. I’m unsure how they have been able to get away with calling this bedroom a “lakeview” and i’m even more confused by other reviews saying how beautiful the view was. “Honestly, after a number of disappointing stays recently, we weren't expecting much so we could avoid being disappointed. But, we were anything but. We were in the maple room, which had private access to outside, a nice living room, a small kitchen (no stove), a large bedroom and very comfortable bed, and a semi small bathroom that was laid out well. “This is a gem of an overnight, a beautiful old inn on grounds fronting Lake Champlain in a grove of ancient white cedars. It lies in a very rural area but in its own right is an elegant place with spacious rooms. There is a golf course very nearby. If you are needing a quiet, refreshing break on the way north towards Canada in upstate New York, this is a great choice.”

“A beautiful tiny home very clean, a great layout and the place had pretty much anything that you needed for your stay. Not sure exactly what classifies as beach access. There is a set of stairs that takes you right down to the water. Now we went in the spring and the water is high so if there is a beach, it is underwater currently, from what I can tell, it is very rocky. I would recommend this rental to friends and family. “We had a wonderful stay at the Old Lantern Inn in Charlotte VT. Our room was large with a king and a twin bed and views of Lake Champlain. The inn was very quiet and clean. We can’t say enough about the innkeeper Lisa; she went above and beyond to ensure that not only were our needs met, but our expectations exceeded. Continental breakfast is modest but tasty.
