“This was the second time we stayed here. The hotel and our room were very clean. The faucet on our sink was a little hard to pull up and then let out a very strong stream of water. The shower unfortunately never got more than luke warm. Both of these do not occur durng our first stay so I’m sure it was just the room we were in. ”

“I visited in the off season, but the hotel is lovely. If you're used to staying in the cookie cutter hotels that all look the same, this hotel will surprise you. It's all furnished with antiques. There's so much charm and personality here. It's delightful! Don't hesitate to come here thinking the hurricane has everything closed. Lake Lure is very near "full pool" now.
