“The bed room was clean and tidy The breakfast was ok. Staff wasok nice to talk to We had good weather Plenty of space for parking ”

“Arrived to a luke warm welcome. The bedroom window was wide open, to air the room, which was damp. The reception area stank of cigarettes smoke. The carpets are so grubby, some steps the carpet is held together with gaffer tape. When we said we wouldn’t be staying because it wasn’t suitable and damp and in general disrepair. We weren’t offered any incentive to stay or give an option for a better room. This hotel would have been amazing in the 1980’s but has indeed lost all its charm. ”

“Had everything needed in the kitchen Odment of sets but it didn't matter not alot of teaspoonsBeautiful view shame about the derelict building to the bedroom viewBut the walks either way were good not for the unfit. Hill was very steep borh ways but worth the view.”

“Our room was clean and had tea/ coffee making facilities. Toiletries were also provided. The view out our window was of the castle. Good location. Hotel requires some updating and there are a few stairs to the rooms. ”
