“The house was amazing! It truly had everything we needed for our stay! There were 8 adults and 4 kids that came to celebrate new years and it was such a great trip. The house was very clean and decorated so nicely. I wish there was a bit more seating in the living area, and some beds could use a foam topper but those are minimal suggestions! We would definitely stay again!”

“The cabin the adorable they weather was so cold it caused a few issues. This charming little home has so much character and great views of Grandfather Mountain. “Id like to start by saying that the home itself is beautiful. It is perfectly intimate and so close to the river, which is an added bonus. We had a few hiccups in our stay, including no water due to busted water lines upon arrival. The host was helpful in addressing and fixing this problem, however it took over 12 hours which was not ideal. I was a vendor for an event in the area this past weekend, and this situation was unfortunate in setting back our pre-established timeline. We were able to...

“Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.”
