  • Royce Cottage allows you to escape and truly experience the Peak District. This beautiful cottage is our pride and joy and we love sharing it with visitors to Tideswell. This place is unique and unlike any others - enjoy complimentary bubbles on arrival and experience the Peak District in style.

    Rain or shine, there's plenty to do at Royce Cottage. Enjoy some of the UKs nicest walks right on your doorstep. If you enjoy cycling, there are some of the UKs best routes to enjoy.
    The space
    The cottage comprises of a open plan layout downstairs giving the place a light and airy, cottage feel. The bathroom is also downstairs allowing those with accessibility issues ease of access.

    Upstairs the master bedroom is on the right - this is a large spacious room with a hotel feel and luxurious king size bed. Netflix and chill? No problem, this room has a 40" tv so you can chill all weekend long in bed should you wish.

    The second bedroom is a double with the same hotel quality bedding and lovely views out of the back window into the garden.

We had a lovely stay at this house in a beautiful Peak District village. The location was wonderful, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were especially pleased that even the sofa beds were soft and comfortable. We would happily stay here again.

The house was absolutely lovely. Brilliant locations with local pubs and cafes in walking distance.The host was fantastic to deal with, he made the whole process easy and effortless.We would definitely stay again!

Small but perfectly formed cottage in Tideswell. The property is in the outskirts of Tideswell but only a short walk to pubs and restaurants. The cottage is clean and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The main bedroom is of a good size and although the second room is smaller, still fits in a double bed. Downstairs is open plan with two sofas, a small dining table and chairs and the kitchen area. The cottage is pet-friendly. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and used it as a base to explore the Peak District. We can highly recommend this property and suggest, if you stay here, you book to eat in Sal’s Italian restaurant- superb!

We said as a family of five for a weekend. The accommodation has really comfortable beds, a great shower and is cosy and had enough room for all us. It is far enough out from the centre not be disturbed by the church bells and close enough to walk to all pubs and restaurants with the kids. The property has everything you need and great little touches like dishwashers tablets, supplies of soap, enough toilet paper, all bedding, lovely towels, coffee, tea and a bottle of fizz. It has an area to hang wet coats and put muddy boots. A clothes dryer is supplied in case of more wet clothes needing drying. The pictures are a true reflection of the property and its standard. The host was amazing. Lots of communication and helpful tips for the local area. The checking in and out process was so easy. Would definitely return as the whole package was 10/10.
