“This was our second stay at Butterfield Cottage - two wonderful weeks at this cosy, comfortable, immaculate cottage. The owner, Jan, was so kind, accommodating and quick to respond allowing us early check in after an overnight flight and late check out as well.The cottage has everything you could ask for - comfortable beds, two bathrooms, well appointed kitchen and cosy living and dining space. The weather was outstanding so we made great use of the front terrace as well as the rear garden. ...

“This is a really beautiful cottage conversion that was originally done a while back but has been updated over the years. It's extremely quiet, very comfortable, very well-equipped (particularly the kitchen - we cooked a full recipe box meal with no problems) and a lovely place to spend time. A basket with some chocolate biscuits and wine was extremely welcome! The location is very rural - this is a farm on the ridge of the hills in the Peak District and so it's always windy and often a bit misty...
