“The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. “Beautiful serene setting. Convenient to Cape Breton. We were here to take in some of the Celtic Colours and it worked well. Just a note I would add for some it might matte is that larger bedroom is up several steps.”

“Cottage was clean and very well fitted out including kitchen supplies. Very comfortable. The location cannot be beat - right on the beach. We wished we had booked for longer so we could have enjoyed the cottage more. Very happy with our stay. ”
