“This was the PERFECT place to stay for us. Four adults (two couples) so the living room and deck was perfect for us to be able to socialize comfortable in the evening. “A convenient location for getting to the west side of Cape Breton NP. The house has a gorgeous water view, and is very comfortable!We enjoyed seeing the Milky Way on a clear night, as there is a nice dark sky over the water in the back yard. We hiked in the park, biked a lovely bike trail ( rented at Inverness Adventures), strolled the beach, and enjoyed music at the nearby Doryman Pub. A great vacation! Managers are easy to communicate with. ”

“Two sets of family stayed at this property and it was more than enough room. The house was very clean and tidy and a comfortable space. Kitchen was stocked with the essentials and all bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper towel and toilet paper. The host was super friendly and helpful. “We had a wonderful stay at the Cabot Trail Lavender Guest House! We appreciated all of the “extras” - the snacks, breakfast items, and beverages. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our two night stay. I never imagined that we would be so close to everything but we were. Catherine was a wonderful host and we hope one day to return to the area again!”

“We had a lovely stay at the Chateau acadien. The panoramic view from the deck of the Cape Breton shoreline is unforgettable. All the rooms were luxurious and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location on Cheticamp Island is in the original fishing settlement, and a small museum is being built nearby. It is supremely quiet and peaceful, but conveniently close to Cheticamp. I highly recommend this property. ”
