“Beautiful house next to a beach and small harbour. Stunning views. The house itself was fabulous with a great living area , superbly appointed kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. There was also a lovely verandas, but sadly not the weather to benefit from it! Very quiet area with lovely trails and beaches. A few small local amenities were open, the co-op at Neil’s Harbour was great and lovely coffee and ice cream at the groovy goat farm.”

“We had an amazing stay at Barbara's place. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a larger group, with plenty of room to relax, cook, and enjoy meals together. The views of the surrounding nature were breathtaking, and the location was ideal for exploring all the beauty Cape Breton Island has to offer. Barbara was thoughtful and responsive, making sure everything was just right. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommended!”

“Beautiful, very peaceful and well equipped property. Kayaking on the lake was fantastic, as was spending time BBQ’ing and relaxing on the deck. The only negative was that, while the master bed was great, the bed on the second bedroom was not. But, as a property at which to disconnect and decompress, it was fantastic. ”

“We stayed for only one night, which was far too short, but our stay was magical. The Yellow Birch pod was a perfect place to rest our weary bones for the night. We were surprised at how roomy the pod was and how absolutely comfortable the beds were. A very quick walk to Salty Rose's capped off the Ingonish chapter in our Maritime Province vacation. We would absolutely stay here again! ”

“This was a great home in the quaint community of Inverness. Minutes from Cabot Links and about 10 min from Cabot Cliffs, it provides excellent access to both premier courses. Multiple restaurants are within walking distance and Robins (coffee) is half a block away. This is a small home with bathroom on the main floor, 3 bedrooms upstairs. “Spacious and clean property that we used as base camp for day trips. Very convient to the highway, gas station, and shops.”

“Really enjoyed staying in this home. The host was responsive and helpful with some recommendations. A very homey feel with everything you need to come back to after a long day exploring the island. Just a few min to a couple beaches, 15 min to town which felt doable even for a quick trip for ice cream, and about 30 min to the entrance to the national park. Comfortable bedding and couch. ”

“A group of eight guys headed to Cape Breton for 4 nights and five days at Baddeck and luckily picked the best possible place to stay that we could. The course is right next to Bell Bay Golf Club which was convenient for us as we played three rounds there, one at Cape breton Highlands (1 hr away) and one round at the Lakes at Ben Oein (1 hr away).
