“Everything ok”

“We had such an amazing time here! In addition to the bioluminescence tour with Eddy (10 minute drive) and the beautiful Organos Beach (5 minute walk), we did a horseback tour at Curu Wildlife Refuge (30 minute drive) and rode the ferry (10 minute drive to terminal) back to Puntarenas when we were done. BUT the best part for us was that a troop of about 20 howler monkeys was in the area and, at one point, treated us to about an hour-long show foraging in the trees almost directly above our dome....

“Lovely stay had by all. Domes were spacious and well equipped with comfy beds and all kids cons. Air con was brilliant! Shared outdoor kitchen had lots of space and was under cover and close to the domes. The pool was deep (circa 145cms and had a natural Tarzan swing which the kids loved. We had a great suggestion for a local tour from the manager and the cafe and the Italian themed shop was very convenient. Playa Órganos was just was a 5 min walk with a view to Tortuga. The monkey highway...

“Cleaning every day and location were great, but kind of noisy as it is just in front of the main road. Some furniture and kitchen utensil are pretty old, should be renewed. Kitchen fully equiped.”

“J'ai beaucoup aimé l'endroit. C'est en pleine nature, on peut y voir beaucoup d'animaux. Les équipements sont un peu rustiques, mais ça donne un vibe plus authentique. J'ai bien aimé mon séjour à jaser avec Jim (le propriétaire), c'est un homme fascinant, il semble un peu rough, mais est une bonne personne. La route pour s'y rendre à partir de Montezuma est un chemin de terre, mais était en très bon état (janvier). Il y a de bons petits restaurants à 5-10 minutes a pied de l'hotel.”

“A person really couldn't ask for more, in a pricey area. Local business owners have driven the prices far too high for this area. Beach Cabinas offers a simple stay, next to good waves. This used to be a paradise. However, outsiders have changed Santa Teresa into an unneeded posh and snobby place. They've successfully alienated the local Ticos and hire cheap workers from Argentina and Nicaragua. I've seen this place change over the last 20 years. Really sad! With that being said, there are not...
