âWe had a wonderful stay at The Dolfor Inn. The room was just beautiful, packed with original features and the bed was super comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning which were both absolutely delicious. Our hosts were fantastic company and obviously love what they do with the attention to detail and service. We had a lovely drink with them Friday night, lots of laughs and great company. We will definitely be back A++++â

âBeautifull venue, great and very friendly personell. Great room. One minor point, we had a room in the attic and with 30+ and only a ventilator is was very very hot for a long time into the night. But that is the only minor point the staff made up for it in friendlyness and service.â
âWe arrived after an 80 mile bike ride and were eager to get a shower and a good meal. The team were expecting us and had the key ready; check-in was very welcoming and efficient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Despite the restaurant being very busy (Saturday 8pm) our meals came without delay and were hot, hearty and very tasty. Wouldnt think twice about staying again next time we're in the area.â

As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog.

âWe enjoyed a lovely time at the Metropole hotel in Llandrindod Wells. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. Staff were helpful and friendly. We had a swim in the Spa pool which was a wonderful experience. We ate in the Brasserie and enjoyed delicious food and service. Breakfast was also delicious and had a good selection of hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend a stay.â
