Casa de Paz is nestled within Pangea Lodge, a charming retreat 100 meters from the beach with a shared pool, offering a relaxing escape alongside three other cozy vacation homes. Each house provides both comfort and privacy, while the shared outdoor spaces create a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests to unwind and enjoy.

➤ Walk Everywhere: The village is small and easily walkable. Most attractions, restaurants, and beaches are just a short stroll away.
➤ Biking: Rent a bike from local shops for a fun and eco-friendly way to explore the area.
➤ Taxis and local bus: For longer distances, taxis are available. You can also arrange shuttles for day trips to nearby towns like Puerto Viejo.

➤ Small dogs are allowed. Maximum of 2 dogs, no more than 10 kg. We have a pet fee of $15 per pet per stay. (Strictly no cats allowed)
➤ Please note that the walls are a bit thin so sound travels easier
➤ Only 2 car parking slot.
➤ ATMs: There are no ATMs in Manzanillo, so it’s a good idea to bring cash with you. The nearest ATM is 9 miles away.
➤ Beaches: Don’t miss out on the beautiful beaches—Manzanillo Beach is perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing under the sun.
➤Wildlife: Take a guided tour of the Gandoca-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge to see the area`s rich biodiversity, including howler monkeys, sloths, and exotic birds.
➤ Check-in and check-out are handled at reception. Please note that check-in must be completed before 10 PM, as the front desk is available from 8 AM to 10 PM daily.

1. For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies:
• Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.
• A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 14 and 29 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
• No refund will be provided for cancellations made 13 days or fewer before the scheduled check-in date.
2. The minimum age to book is 18 years old.
3. Respect all neighbors.
4. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 9:00 pm .
5. No parties or events allowed.
6. Rooms can only be used by guests who are duly registered at the reception.
7. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $100 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed.
There is a designated smoking area next to the reception.
8. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund. Need to ask permission.
9. You can enjoy the use of our shared pool from 8 AM to 9 PM.
10. Late check-out fee of $30-$50 (if not authorized) depending on the property applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them.
11. This is a dog-friendly property! We’re glad if you were able to bring your pet along, but please note we have a few additional rules:
• Please note that a $15 Pet fee will be applied per pet per stay.
• We are unable to host cats and breeds of dogs deemed aggressive, per our insurance policy.
• No more than TWO (2) animals, no larger than 10 kg.
• Pets are not allowed on furniture & please clean up after your pets.
• Do not leave your pet home alone unless crated.
12. Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos.
13. Sheets, towels, and pillows must all stay in the room, do not take our towels to the beach. We will provide you with beach towels.
14. Keep common areas and kitchens clean, wash and put away your own dishes. Keep your food in the refrigerator in a bag with your Room# and date on it.
15. Guests are required to handover their keys to the receptionist before departure. If guests lose or do not return keys, a $25 (₡15.000) fine will be applied. If you leave out of office hours, please inform us.
16. Hotel keeps the right to refuse further hospitality to the guest who disturbs other guests or in any other way disrespects hotel rules without a refund.
17. Hotel has no responsibility for any damage or loss of your personal belongings. In case of any loss, you are requested to immediately inform Reception.
18. For any damage caused by the guest on the hotel property, the guest is responsible to cover the cost of damage to the hotel.
19. For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera.
20. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will be charged the Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage) upon your request.
21. Guests who fail to arrive for their reservation, for any reason, will be considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable, and no credits, reschedules, or exceptions will be provided under any circumstances.
22. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs.
23. If you were a previous/current guest and did not respect our house rules and our property, we have the right to decline your next reservation.
