âItâs a family run business and the owner was super nice and helpful , the property was peaceful , the only noise was the wild animals on the property like howler monkeys and lots of exotic bird species , the owner prepared a papaya from the tree right in front of our room , it was delicious.
I would recommend this property for people that want a truly Costa Rican experience without all the crowds of the towns . Loved our stay at Casa Conley 10 out of 10 , canât wait to visit again ââ
âPerfect place for a family with two small children. Close to a child friendly beach and in the middle of the jungle. Lots of animals in the area. We saw monkeys, sloths, hummingbird, toucans etc.
The cabin has a small kitchenette, a terrace, one smaller double bed and one single bed. It's an open cabin so you hear the animals at night which we really liked. But some mosquitos found their way in. The mosquito nets provided were broken and did not cover the whole bed.
No ac, but that was ok anyway...
âA clean and nicely kept place located just north of Puerto Viejo de Talamanca 800 m from the amazing black beach. There is a bus stop on the main road halfways to Puerto Viejo but if you travel first time with bus it is easier to jump off in Puerto Viejo and (if you have luggage) to take a taxi or a tuk-tuk which is cheap. The hosts, Umberto and Katie, have No limits in their hospitality and speak excellent english. The bathroom was heated and thus wet clothes and towels dried up which is not...
âWe had 3 rooms for 5 nights, two of the rooms had no functional showers and one no functional toilet. Event though they didn't fix them we tried to be flexible. Our reservation was confirmed with breakfast included but it was according to management a misunderstanding so they refused to serve us. Then they contacted Expedia and confirmed that breakfast was included. We were pleased and had breakfast for 3 days but on the 4th day the manager said it was not included and claimed payment...

Maten pÄ hotellet var dyr och en ganska liten meny att vÀlja pÄ. Tonfisken jag bestÀllde medium var helt rÄ.

Make sure to visit Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Gandoca-Manzanillo as it is located just 10 minutes drive from the hotel.â
âMarcelo and his team is doing a great job making this place feel special. Itâs a bit outside Cauita but if you are looking for a relaxed place this is it. And the restaurant just across the street is a great place for just hanging out with some games and cocktails. â

Vi bodde i ett separat litet hus som heter Colibri, och blev först lite tveksamma nÀr det inte fanns a/c i hettan, men takflÀkten och öppet fönster (med inbyggt myggnÀt) gjorde sitt, sÄ vi sov gott med ljudet frÄn havet i bakgrunden.
Vi hade absolut kunnat stanna kvar lÀngre, och rekommenderar absolut ett besök hÀr. "
