Welcome to your own slice of the Caribbean rainforest — a place where mornings begin with the sound of howler monkeys (congos) and evenings fade into ocean breezes beneath a moonlit sky.

Located in the up-and-coming neighborhood of Playa Negra, just a 7-minute drive from downtown Puerto Viejo, the home offers quiet seclusion while keeping you close to everything the area has to offer. (Please note: there may occasionally be light construction noise in the neighborhood.)

This isn’t your average rental — it’s a true home.

After living here for three years, I’ve filled it with comforts, warmth, and thoughtful touches that most short-term rentals simply don’t have. You’ll feel the difference — everything here was designed to be lived in and loved.

The space is unique and art-filled, an eccentric haven surrounded by tropical gardens and a spacious fenced yard. With one bedroom and two bathrooms, it’s peaceful, private, and perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

You’re close to incredible beaches, markets, cafés, and jungle adventures — yet far enough to feel completely at ease.

🏡 Additional Fees & Policies

🚭 Smoking
Smoking is allowed outside only.
A $200 USD (₡100,000 CRC) cleaning fee will be charged for smoking indoors.

🐾 Pets
Guests must clean up after their pets.
$40 USD (₡20,000 CRC) fee for one dog under 20 lbs (9 kg).
No pets on furniture.

🔑 Lost Gate Remote / Key Fob
$90 USD (₡45,000 CRC) replacement fee.

🗝️ Lost Key
$30 USD (₡15,000 CRC) replacement fee per key.

👶 Children
No children under 12 years old.
