Was a nice place with reasonable facilities. I found it easy to get to my room. I found that there were some things missing like a hair dryer, ice tray.

The property is not maintained the way it should be, lack of contact when you get to the room after office hours as there is no contact for anyone who might be able to help with issues encountered. Floors were not properly cleaned. Booked for a week and not enough basics which was advertised to last for the week, booked for 2 people, only two bath towels for an entire week, no pool towels. Linen not changed the entire week. Really disappointing experience. I do not understand how this establishment is allowed to operate like that as a business. What is Queensland government doing about it.

On 28 January 2023, you received a confirmation from us stating that your booking was for 7 nights and was NOT inclusive of daily housekeeping and that if you required any additional cleaning, towels, linen, additional toiletries or consumables they would incur a separate charge. On the same email reception and office hours were clearly stated as was the number you could call 24hrs. There is always someone on site to attend to your needs; however they are not in the office but always available on the telephone number stated.We are sorry that you appear to have booked something without understanding the conditions of the booking. When you came to reception for top-ups of consumables you were given them without charge.We hope your dissatisfaction with our accommodation did not spoil your entire time in our beautiful Far North Queensland.

価格も安価で、設備面や従業員の方の対応は非常に満足できるものでした。急な宿泊日程の変更にも丁寧に対応していただきとても感謝しています。すこし中心街からは遠く、バスなら20分ほどかかりますがUberを使えば10分弱で到着するので大きな問題はありませんでした。また泊まりたいです。

The location is great, pleasant surroundings however the maintenances of the rooms could be better. Power switches need to be fixed, taps dripping, the fridge was not working properly regarding the freezer that would not freeze.

Absolute Value for money.
Absolutely one of the cleanest accommodation ive experienced in a little while. Comfy large beds, basic motel accommodation, with everything you need for a short or long stay, value for money family accommodation. Great gardens and pool area too pass the time in. Close to all ameniyies and just a short drive to Cairns City. Highly recommend.

Convenient place to stay. Near the highway, but noise was dulled once inside. There was some mould on bathroom ceiling and on the corner grout in the shower, but overall cleaning was good.

Tidy room with easy pool access. Quiet area but convenient to shopping and transport. The pool is great... Overall this is a good base to use for a visit to Cairns. Would stay again 👍

Fantastic communication with staff via email prior to my arrival. Arrived late well after opening hours and arrangements were made so I could obtain my room key without much fuss. Room was great for the price, walls were thick so couldn't hear other guests in adjoining rooms or the nearby highway. Bed was comfortable if a little hard. Facilities were good and the air con and ceiling fan in the room was much appreciated! WIFI was dependable and of great use when uploading the days photos to the internet etc.

Good location, great hotel
Staff were informative. Rool clean and spacious. Pool was large and relaxing. Good access to major roads (less than 10mins drive to Cairns reef fleet terminal) and supermarket. Recommend for people looking for an easy getaway and have a car for transport.

Staff were friendly but the place is in need of a refresh/upgrade. Insufficient car parking and when available was not close to the unit - a real problem if you have a heap of gear to cart. Bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. Did not feel comfortable as surrounded by permanent residential tenants. Was certainly not value for money. Paperwork said check-in strictly 2pm yet email received said reception closed 1pm in one document and noon in another (on Saturdays) - confusing - had to ring to verify what time we needed to be there by. Will not book there again as money would be better spent elsewhere.

It was friendly, cosy, comfortable and very quiet. A lot of parking and I would recommend Cairns Gateway Resort to family and friends who want to visit Cairns.

The room was very dusty and I had to check out early as I suffer from allergy to dust. I was given a full refund and the management advised they will be reviewing the cleaning of the rooms. I was happy with the response to my complaint .
