“After a long day of travelling, we made a last-minute decision to add one more overnight stop before heading home from the Eurotunnel — and we’re so glad we did. What a gem! This charming small hotel is beautifully peaceful, with just a few rooms, and everything was clean and well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. “Rummet låg i ett annex högst upp med branta trappor. Obemannad reception där man fick ringa till en person som kom efter ett tag. Han hade inte koll på vilka rum som var bokade, fick gå och ta reda på detta. Ingen wifi. Bra frukost och ordning vid utcheckning.”

“I have stayed at this hotel before and think it’s great! What I think is new is that you need to provide a code at the main entrance door when you arrive after the reception desk is closed. This code is also the same as the code used to enter the personal room. I don’t think it’s safe to have the same code for both, because a person was standing nearby when I typed in the code at the entrance door and thought he could have seen what I typed in. “Fantastiskt hus med modern inredning. Rummet är fantastiskt . Ardres är en fin liten by med gamla hus och gränder. Tyvärr var det dåligt med mataffärer så handla med er innan ankomst. ”

“Very friendly receptionist, we arrived late at night but still all smiles and great service. Free public car parking just across the street, very nice and convenient. Quiet and clean neighbourhood. Comfortable beds and lots of space in the room with a sofa and chairs. A big plus for the water boiler and free coffee and tea. We did not have the breakfast but instead walked a few hundred metres into town and ate an affordable boulangerie. ”
