Our experience was wonderful. After a long, long day of driving, the sight of a clean hotel room with a comfortable bed, spotless bedsheets and pillows, and a clean bathroom are always a true joy. But beyond the comfort a hotel room can provide, a one night rest is made more pleasurable when the staff of a hotel are also warm and welcoming, as these at Ramada by Wyndham High River are. The gentleman (a young, pleasant man with red hair), who was at check-in late in the evening on Sept. 29/23, as well as the two delightful people (William, I believe, as well as the young mom of Timber and Echo), who were on the front desk at 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 30/23, could not have been kinder or more helpful. We learned from the check-in gentleman that High River was the host to the hot-air balloon competition and that if we rose early at 7:00 a.m., we could see the balloons' departure from our hotel room window. Such a beautiful experience!! The two staff at the front desk when we checked out were also so kind. With no other guests waiting in line, these 2 took the time to tell us how to enjoy the Heartland experience in High River. We shared with them a few points that needed attention with respect to repair in the hotel, and they were anxious to get right onto these matters, thanking us for telling them. Ramada by Wynham High River, your staff need a raise!! They are "for" their hotel and their jobs, no question, and ready to serve your patrons with kindness and diligence.
