Cita's Cottage is a newly built, private house located in the beautiful village of Calibishie directly by the sea.
The house offers everything you need to accommodate 4 persons comfortably. With a living and dining area with aircondition, 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom and a spacious verandah right by the seaside. It's the perfect holiday home for your stay in Dominica.
Situated on the mainroad of the village, you will find supermarkets, restaurants, snackets and bars in walking distance. If you don't want to rent a car to explore the island, you can catch a bus right in front of your house or ask your host for a private driver or guide.

Really enjoyed the property and the location. There were 4 good restaurants withing easy walking distance and two others within 5-10 minute drive. The air conditioning was helpful and we took a tour of the northern part of the island with one of the property managers which was a great value.

Susan explained things about the cottage when we arrived and provided us information about the town and how to get a hold of her if we needed anything. Wendy and Susan were very friendly and happy to assist us. Wendy provides tours and Susan gave us information on them when we arrived. The unit was clean and everything worked as it should. Susan was quick to provide batteries for the safe when we were having trouble with it. The double bed was very uncomfortable. The pillows were hard and very full. The air conditioning worked well. The shower had hot water but the more you increase the pressure the colder the water got. The cottage is right on the main road and can be quite noisy in the evening hours with loud music, racing cars, and loud talking. In the mornings it’s pretty noisy with truck traffic. Dogs can also get noisy and sometimes romped around on the cottage verandah at night. Internet was very good for streaming. The cottage is on the Atlantic Ocean. It was beautiful to sit outside on the verandah or at the picnic table provided. The view of the ocean is blocked by the palm trees if you’re sitting at the table on the verandah. But, if you sit at the picnic table you have a nice view of the ocean. If you’re thinking of lounging by the beach and going for a swim by the cottage, this is not the setting for that! We were disappointed to find that out when we arrived. There are four restaurants with Caribbean food and two grocery stores that you can easily walk to.

Susan was an amazing host. She was very welcoming and helpful. The home was awesome and very clean. The views from outback were outstanding. Location was within walking distance to restaurants, groceries, and gas stations. I would definitely recommend and hope to return soon.

Magnifique !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Maison super agréable, accueil parfait et que dire de la terrasse et de la vue sinon que c'était top !! La rue est sympathique et parfaite pour aller se chercher du poulet grillé sur le barbecue le soir !!

I loved everything about this property. The area is beautiful and the people I met there are so warm and inviting. The host, Susan was wonderful as well. I would highly recommend and I hope to come back soon.

Charming place right on the shore and central to all amenities of Calibishie. Especially enjoyed eating our breakfast on the deck every morning with the sea as our back drop.
