“I loved the hotel and the property - so beautiful and layout was attractive and very inviting; loved the night of music under the canopy, fire pit by the lake, etc. Enjoyed being at the public lake and on the paths. Our only downside was the check in that took over an hour - had nothing to do with the hotel or staff - since that was all great! EXPEDIA messed up our reservation even though I had confirmation etc......and hotel did not have our room reserved. It was a nightmare because...

“Very well preserved Victorian House. Such a pleasant time we had. My brief remarks to other potential guests are: if you have severe mobility issues, potentially you want to contact the property: the upstairs rooms are accessible through, well, Victorian stairs.
My very specific room (suite 2) gets some noise from the road, specially when motorcycles go by. Gets better during the night, but noticeable during the day. Remarks made, I would definitely book again.”

“Beautiful setting next to idyllic summer lake town. Melanie Soberon, owner was on site during the days. She and her staff were very helpful, recommending local restaurants and points of interest. Will definitely stay here again!”
